At first, I was skeptical about stopping at a taco truck familiar burritos and tacos often fall flat. But my wife insisted, pointing out its five star rating and wow, she was right. As soon as we pulled up (parking can be tricky since it's right on the street), the mouth watering aroma hit us the meat sizzles on a grill mounted on the side of the truck while they press fresh tortillas inside. We ordered a mix of tacos and burritos: the burrito was surprisingly hearty and flavorful, bursting with smoky char and perfectly seasoned meat. Even though I’m not usually a horchata fan, I tried it and loved it because it turned out to be creamy, sweet without being watered down, and just perfect. My kids agreed no diluted flavor at all. The food arrived quickly, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere complete with ambient street side sounds and relaxed music made it feel like an impromptu family picnic under the stars. We all walked away full, happy, and planning our next visit. Why This Truck Stands Out Authentic Tijuana style tacos Charcoal grilled meats tucked into handmade tortillas, topped with thick guacamole the style is beloved in North Baja coastal towns and authentically served here. FUN FACTS: Tacos Los Poblanos started as a weekend swap meet stand in 2005 and evolved into the popular truck it is today, run by a family of taqueros originally from Puebla. Part of a cultural wave These Tijuana-style tacos weren't always mainstream in L.A., but now they're beloved served by Poblano taqueros like those at Los Poblanos who brought this tradition to life here. Nearby Attractions & Bonus Tips Located in South L.A.’s vibrant taco scene, just a few minutes from the Avalon Swap Meet and local shops. Grab a sweet crepe from the neighboring truck it’s the perfect dessert after those bold tacos. Hunter’s tip: Parking can fill up, especially on weekend evenings. Arrive a bit early for better spots, or park a block away for easier access. Overall, this wasn’t just a meal it was an experience. If you’re in East L.A., craving real Tijuana style flavor, or just want a memorable family outing, this taco truck is a must stop.

Excellent Service!! They wore gloves, masks and very well organized. The tacos wete so so good. When I read the reviews I thought authentic "Tijuana Style Tacos," well we'll see. While waiting in my car I could smell the smoke of the meat being cooked. It took me back to the great memories of tacos & beer we used to have across the boarder. Thank you so much for the delicious tacos 🌮 and the beautiful memories I used to have with my friends in Baja...
