Today was my 1st time trying this place, I came across it on postmates yesterday and said I will try it today. The pictures looked great food looked delicious. Today at lunch I went over, the girl at the register could have been a bit more friendly. Being that it was my 1st time I had a few questions, which she seemed bothered by. While paying for my food a phone order came in for a "Lunch Special". I stepped back to look at the menu because I didn't recall seeing anything about a lunch special. All I saw was dinner, apps, & drinks. I asked her why was the "Lunch Special" she told me it was up there. I asked her if the menu is supposed to scroll or anything because it was there. She said no then pulled out a pamphlet menu and show me the section tht said lunch. I then advised her that this was not up there. I over spent on my meal by purchasing a "dinner" because the in store menu only offered that option. Regard it did not matter, I was still super excited to try. Everything was great once I got home, opened up my container & began eating my food. I was more than halfway done when my fianceè had a bother look on his & was holding something in his fingers up for me to see. I couldn't see anything & told him so he came closer & there it was, a blondish colored strand of hair 🤦🏽♀️🤮. I was so disappointed because at this point in my meal I was excited that I had found a new food place close to my home. He was very upset and disappointed that he had someones hair in his mouth, he decided to go back to the restaurant and to address the situation and let them know that they need to wear hair nets. He requested a refund where he was met with "you probably put that in there yourself". This type of service is totally unacceptable, as a business this is not the response or approach you should take with your consumers. He was then offered for them to cook another meal & I knw some customers may feel okay thts acceptable, but I mean why would you want another meal with possibly another hair?🤔 The establishment consistantly refused to honor a refund, and my fianceè refused a new meal. The issue was not resolved & they have lost a potential new customer with the horrible way they reacted to the situation. The food was good minus the hair if you still choose to patronize this...

I compelled to write this review because the owner of this establishment has the worse customer engagement and is undeserving. After paying for two combo plates and spending $40 my order was wrong. I ordered door dash near the time of the establishment closing so I was unable to let the establishment know about my missing items. I called the next day and the owner was basically yelling and implying that I was lying about my order being wrong I was shocked to say the least. I don’t ask for my money back at any point only for my order to corrected. The owner asked me to bring the order that I got the night before to the location in Compton. I live on the South Bay and would have liked credit for another time. Somehow this was asking for way to much the owner hung the phone in my face and refused to answer when I called back. He took my $40 which is over priced anyways my shrimp was missing, streak burned and rice saltier than a Himalayan salt lamp. I feel so robbed. How does a person like that continue to make money in a business treating his customers in such a harsh way. He literally stole from me and my family. And I’m sure this is how he always behave when engaging with customers. Never will I ever tolerate this kind of behavior. I don’t know why they have 4.3 stars on here ridiculous. I’m not sure where the bad reviews came from? Maybe it’s because I didn’t get to meet the cranky employees? I don’t think I would order the chow mein again, nothing special. But I ordered him white rice with steak, chicken and I ordered some extra teriyaki and some habanero sauce. I did not mind paying the extra $.50 it’s no big deal…..
