Original Taco Pete -Compton — Restaurant in Los Angeles

It sucks that there’s not that many great places to eat in Compton. I don’t have very much but I treated myself to lunch this afternoon here at this location and the quality of the food was terrible. I felt so bad that I was going through my entire lunch away so I decided to be brave enough to walk in politely and request a refund. They’re so “ghetto” and I watch the Hispanic girl touch the register with gloves on then handle the fries. Just because they’re in Compton doesn’t mean they have to fit all the “sterotypes” of Compton.

Respect goes along way, and when you treat people with dignity. I understand there’s police’s and procedures but it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Poor mentality and a poor mindset will keep you in the same place forever. People have to grow. How would they want someone to treat their family if their family was dinning...

Good food.. but the older Black lady never has her face mask pulled up.. it just hangs under her Chin..me and my family eat here weekly..and last night I couldn't continue to watch her breathe into people orders checking if they were correct so I asked about the mask 😷 and she said she was vaccinated.. she seemed up set so I told her I didn't mean any disrespect and she offered to show me her vaccination.. I declined and wanted to cancel my order.. it was just completely unprofessional and no one ate the Tacos when we got home.. my husband observed her once with food hanging off her lips..we all decided that Taco Pete will non longer have us as costumers.. I even order through post mate some times I will miss it great Tacos.. but can't take those type of...

I tried contacting Pete's Taco on the phone for 15-20 minutes back to back dialing (before someone finally answered the phone) in order to see how late they were open before driving there and wasting time, energy, and gas... A business that ignores the phone is not a good thing... I will NOT be back since the employees are handling the food, and do NOT keep their masks on their faces while hovering over the food that people are going to be consuming... Yikes! The Health Department needs to roll up on this chaos! People who do not take #COVID19 pandemic seriously or the Delta Variant are NOT worth dealing with or patronizing... What other health hazards do they do while handling and preparing customers food.. do they even wash...
