McDonald's — Restaurant in Compton

McDonalds, McDonalds! We all know at least one person in our circle that has had McDonald’s. The McDonald’s at Rosecrans Ave & Long Beach Blvd is an interesting one. It offers almost every item on the menu that you would otherwise find at any other McDonald’s in the nation. Want an Adult Happy Meal? Sure. It’s highly likely they’ll have it here. The employees at this particular branch are almost always on the younger side. I’m assuming they hire mostly young adults due to their time flexibility. I assure assure you this is not a problem at all. The food still comes on time and we’ll prepped. Just pointing it out. Personally I have never had a problem here. However, it’s subjective 😅I’ve witnessed a couple of altercations between the customers and the employees. Most of the time the fault is with the entitled customers. I mean, who knows. Now, the place is always clean and shiny. They Hispanic guy who keeps the floor clean seems to always be cleaning. So that gives you a feeling of good hygiene. So keep in mind that every now and then you will be asked for “spare change” outside of the store. There’s a small population of homeless and they tend to panhandle right at the entrance. If I could give this location no stars I would. I just came from this location. I ordered big mac combo large with extra pickles, onions, sauce and cheese. All of which they charged me for. However when I got home and opened the container it came in I noticed that it didn't look how it usually looks when I order extra... So I disassembled the burger only to find that they did not make it the way I requested I don't even think the put pickles on the burger. So I called the location to notify them of their error and a lady picks up the phone who didn't speak English too well. I stated the reason for my call and she didn't respond... I believe she put me hold. I waited and said hellos for about 2 minutes before I ended the call because I wasn't sure if she was coming back. I called right back and she picked up the phone again only this time she didn't say anything she just kinda mumbled. So I ended the call and called back a third time. Only this time it went to voicemail but the system was full... So I googled the number just to make sure it was correct and it was... So I called back a fourth time and was sent to voicemail again it was full so i couldn't leave a message! This is by far the worst customer experience I gave...

What can I say about McDonald's, their prices are very low but low key, it's enterprises like mickey d's, that are slowly murdering us. And I know capitalism and I know you got to make your money but what about responsibility for the lives of the people you serve. Till the day there's a fast food place created by a actual doctor who cares about people's lives I'm always going to talk negative truths about these horrible fast food restaurants that we've been raised with. They have a dollar menu and they are convenient for us "poor folks" and us homeless and us people of a forsaken community, but at what cost are we willing to trade a 99 cent soda for another risky health condition and development. And I'm not singling out McDonald's, but McDonald's is Rich enough with enough franchises and does corner the market in its industry enough that they can afford to create a healthy menu. There's a difference between capitalism and greed. So as long as they keep messing us up I will continue to talk s* about them. Pardon my French.
