Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Comstock Charter Township

Went in and ordered a regular cheese steak sandwich. I told the person I wanted it with mayo instead of the spicy mustard. You get the option of having it with spicy mustard, mayo or pizza sauce so I told her I wanted the mayo but no mustard. What I got was a cheese steak sub with just mayo, steak, and cheese. No mushrooms, no peppers, no onions which is NOT what I ordered! Most places would ask or at least assume that you want everything else that comes on the sandwich. No this place just assumes you don't want any of the rest of the stuff that comes on the sandwich. If they used common sense or courtesy they would have asked if everything else on the sandwich is okay but they didn't bother. Customer service wasn't great either. The lady slammed my cup down on the counter. Acted like she didn't really want to be there. No smile or anything just acted put out for having to be there. Too a long time to get out order. Didn't appear to be overly busy. Couldn't get any of their tea because both were out. Won't be returning...

I called in about my order because I barely had any fries in my bag and the fires were cooked to long that they tasted burnt .. no problem I got over it then I go to give my kids there sandwich and it had one layer of meat and 3 inches of the sandwich just had lettuce and bread so I go to give them half of my sandwich and mine had 2 and half inches of no meat just cheese and bread this has happened twice so I call and Haley the manager ( she claimed she was ) said “I made those sandwiches so I know they were made right “ like I’m not looking at them with my own two eyes. She argued me down when I was nothing but nice from the start I won’t be back . And on top of that she was sitting in the counter where the food is made when I came in to...

I really hate to give a one star, but I have dined at several Penn Station locations and this dining experience was the worst. Fries were basically raw when delivered to the table and the guest next to us had the same problem. Had the Philly which is my go to sandwich and it was warm, but not hot. It also did not even have enough meat and toppings to cover the 8 inch, much less even a 6 inch if I had ordered that. Then, no come back to see us as we are leaving. All three employees were about as friendly as a toad frog is when being picked up. The owner really needs to get involved with this station to turn things up or it won't be around for...
