I come here quite often but today I was highly disappointed! I placed a pick up order and was told it would be 30 minutes until it was ready which I had no problem waiting! We decided we were already close to the restaurant we would just go in and eat.. when we entered we seen our order -(full order of biscuits and gravy and a side of cheesy hash browns) sitting in the to go counter. We were asked what our order was and we were sat at a table as requested but our food sat there for 10 minutes before they went to check for our food which they then seen it was on the to go counter and they brought over our bag and when I opened it I was met with 3 1/2 biscuits mind you I just got the same order the day before and it was full biscuits same order nothing different but today they shorted it I asked if that was normal the (“cook/manager”) told me they cut the biscuits and it was normal! I didn’t care to give it that much more attention until I took a bite and it was cold as ice.. we ended up just taking our hash browns and where leaving but I told the manger I wanted to give him some feed back because we come there often and I was disappointed this time because of the temperature of the food the gravy was sweet and not to mention the day before we paid $19 for the same order and today it was $14 and I was told my food could always get re-heated🤯 I don’t think I’ll be coming back to...

Came here Saturday 11/23 with my boyfriend. Based on the close to 5 star review, we thought we'd give it a try.

Immediatley I noticed that the sound from the other guests carried throughout the dining area making it difficult to converse over the noise. I dont think that building was made for a large capacity of guests at once.

I had the chorizo omelet with house fries. He had the Belgium waffle, pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs. The food was mediocre at best. No flavorings on the eggs or potatoes--completely bland. Pancakes were slightly dry, and had a chewy texture. His waffle was decent, nothing to be excited about though. My omelet tasted like it had that bean chili mix in the can from the store in it & the chorizo was near non-existent, if there at all. The avocado that I asked for on the side seemed as though it had been previously frozen-- the texture was off. Our waitress seemed overworked, and didnt come back to check on us until the end, when we were ready for the bill.

I was really ready to add this place to my fave breakfast spot list in kzoo-- but the only thing I'd give 5 stars was the coffee. It was bold and flavorful... too bad the food...

Dear Management Team,

I recently visited your Kalamazoo location on Gull Road and, while I genuinely enjoyed the food and appreciated the manager’s attentiveness as he checked on guests, I was disappointed by the service I received from one of your waitstaff.

During my visit, my server, a young woman with a red shirt and ponytail, displayed a noticeably unfriendly attitude. When I handed her my debit card, she tossed it back onto the table instead of handing it back to me politely. This felt both disrespectful and unprofessional, which left me with a negative impression of your establishment.

I understand that you may have recently added new staff as part of the restaurant’s growth, and I appreciate the effort that goes into expanding your team. However, it’s essential that all team members understand the importance of courteous customer service, as it can significantly impact a guest’s overall experience.

I hope this feedback will be helpful in maintaining the high standards of service that many patrons, including...

Yet another so-so breakfast restaurant... Eggs were prepared perfectly over-medium, and that's about as good as it got. The rest of the food was nothing to write home about. Pancakes were pretty dry, hash browns we're mushy, gravy was bland. Nothing terrible, but just ok. They also use a disgusting value brand ketchup which is almost a reason to remove another star. Service was pretty good. Overall, probably won't return or recommend it to anyone, but won't warn to stay away either.

Really, really good breakfast location. Always good food. Always efficient service. Friendly staff. Clean dining room. Clean and well stocked bathroom. I think this use to be a pizza hut location. This is definitely an improvement. Didn't just out pizza the hut but completely out restaurant the hut. The Benny skillet with the pancakes is a favorite. You won't be sorry you got out of bed to visit this place in the morning.

A breakfast and lunch restaurant fairly new to the Eastside if Kalamazoo and very welcome! Very clean with a great staff and a menu with options not found on most, like poutine. I’ve always had breakfast but they do have lunch specials and choices as well. I often get the protein plate but when I want carbs, the tater tots are a favorite.
