City Grill & Wings- Concord — Restaurant in Concord

I ordered multiple items from this restaurant for delivery. I waited 1.5 hours to receive my order to which we realized it was only one bag with 3 boxes and should have atleast had 4 boxes (ordered a Greek wrap, wings, kids chicken tender meal, fried pickles and extra side of fries) as my husband started opening stuff to see what was missing I was already calling the delivery driver to see if he forgot something who told me that the restaurant only gave him one bag with 3 boxes and a drink. So I hung up with him and called the restaurant to which the lady that answered the phone literally argued with me That I did not order a “kids meal” that I ordered a 2 piece chicken tender with a drink so there wasn’t supposed to be any fries.. if you look at the posted picture of the menu the amount that I paid for the “2 piece” is the exact amount of the kids meal that comes with the drink and fries.. when you try to place an order for chicken tenders - the smallest amount you can order is a 3 piece and it does NOT come with a drink. She told me that the delivery driver must have stolen my food because she packed everything. She went on to tell me that the bags that use can only hold 3 boxes. So if one was missing he opened the bag and took something out.. I then explained to her that she was making any sense because she’s saying the bag only holds 3 boxes- but was telling me that I should have had 4 boxes and a side container of fries, which would mean that I should have had another bag.. she didn’t understand why this wasn’t making sense or adding up.. after literally her arguing with me that I was wrong about the number of bags / boxes I should have had and telling me again that the delivery guy stole my food- I asked her to speak with the manager… she told me I couldn’t speak to the manager because the manager was dealing with customers. I stated that I was a customer that already paid for her food and didn’t get my correct order, to which she responded while you can’t speak to her because she doesn’t speak any English.. I told the lady on the phone that was fine that I spoke Spanish. Manager gets on the phone speaking only Spanish and told me that once again the delivery guy stole my food. Horrible customer service. I will never order from this...

UPDATE: My original 5 star rating is down to a 3. I usually have a great experience here but tonight was different. I ordered from Postmates and there was a cheesecake missing. Also, the parmesan wings had very little parmesan on them. I'm a bit disappointed. I called the restaurant to let them know and the manager tried to tell me he handed all of the items to the driver. That bag was tied so tightly even I couldn't get it open without ripping it. The driver did go back out and get the cheesecake. If I try them out again I will not order delivery since drivers are not allowed to check the bag for accuracy.

Old Review: visited for the first time today and I was very pleased. I ordered meals for 3 and 2 desserts. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but it is worth every single penny! My kids waste food, even fast food, but my kids raved about how good it was and my son (8 years old) finished his whole 7 piece wing combo. I had some golden and teriyaki wings and they were delicious. Even when they got cold (I'm a slow eater) they were still so good. I was surprised that the wings are actually a decent size and not tiny like you get most everywhere else. The fries were seasoned well and the lemonade was also very good. My daughter had a burger that i tasted. 😱 Seriously the best burger I've tasted in my life. Im ready to go back for another. The portion sizes are good as well. I had an absolutely incredible experience at City Grill and Wings in Concord! The honey barbecue wings were the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and they were served piping hot, just the way I love them. I ordered 10 wings, split between Cajun and honey barbecue flavors, and every bite was packed with flavor. The onion rings were cooked to golden, crispy perfection, making them a perfect complement to the wings.

Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service was also top notch. The young gentleman working at the end of the counter went above and beyond by checking in on me to make sure everything was up to standard, and it absolutely was. The restrooms were clean and smelled good, and I was impressed by the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. To top it all off, I received three ranch dips without any extra charge, which was a pleasant surprise.
