Beware that you are not guaranteed what you order online and you may show up to pick up what you “ordered” and they have given other flavors. They will NOT call you to let you know that they do not have the flavors that you wanted. I called to order 4 dozen mini cupcakes and I was told on the phone to go online to place my order. (Some cupcakes said out of stock and you could not order them, the cupcakes I ordered did not have this.) I placed my order online and proceeded to arrive at my pickup time and was told that they did not have what I ordered so instead of calling and making me aware of this so that I could make other arrangements or choose something else, they filled my order with other flavors that they had in stock. I was just so surprised and disappointed no one called me, I could have come up with a different solution but instead had to try to think of something else on the spot. I ended up leaving with cupcakes I didn’t really want, I should have just asked for my money back. I won’t be ordering...

Growing up, I went to church right on the hill above this bakery. If I behaved during the service (which I usually did), my parents would take me down for a brownie afterward. That brownie became a kind of holy grail—gooey, rich, perfectly balanced—and to this day, it still tastes like love, reward, and tradition all in one bite.

Now as an adult, I come back and it hits just as hard. The quality, the warmth, the magic is still there. What was once an incentive for good behavior is now a nostalgic, joyful indulgence—and honestly, it still works just as well.

I visited Concord Teacakes for the first time last week. I love that I was able to conveniently order online in advance.

I ordered Italian Anise cookies, red velvet cupcakes, whoopie pies, bread loaves, bagels, muffins and a half moon cookie for a family gathering. Everyone enjoyed the treats and we loved how moist & fresh everything was! No dry cakes here!

The Anise cookies are my favorite! So soft and tender with a well balanced flavor! The café au lait was hot & made exactly how I ordered it. It was the perfect afternoon treat!

The shop is well organized with some really pretty touches. I was served quickly and with a smile.

I can't wait to visit again and stock up on Anise cookies. I also want to try the chocolate croissants! I live in Leominster, it's totally worth the drive...
