OK, so maybe they have great pizza and ordering a falafel wrap at an Italian Kitchen may not be the best idea, but I figured their high marks for quality might carry over. Small, overcooked pieces of stale something-barely-resembling-falafel but tasting like moldy sawdust chunks (with pickles, though they aren't in the description and don't belong) Why did I order it? I did a google search for falafel and it was the closest restaurant offering it. Next time I'll drive the extra distance to "Mediterranean Turkish Halal Food" in Framingham (now THAT is falafel!). Oh, one more thing: the falafel was $6.95 and I got $2 back from a $10 bill. With 7% tax it should have been $7.44 total, or $2.56 back. I thought at the time that the price must have gone up since the menu was posted online, but the menu in the store had the same price, which I only noticed on my way out. And a chicken calzone with even less chicken than the wrap in a dough burned and dry. Even a cerrated knife could not cut it. The third thing we ordered was an Italian sub. Still looking for the meat. But lots and lots of lettuce and tomato. Enough for half the roll to be soggy. If one thing did not come our right, then it’s one of those “sometimes things happen”, but not three and most definitely the quantity of filling in all three items. When my husband went to pick it up, he noticed that it wasn't what we ordered. He was told that I had "made a mistake and didn't order the right one"! Huh? How does that work? When I complained, he promised to refund the pizza, but never did. I had to go back to the store, explain my story again, and the manager on-duty very kindly admitted that never should have happened and gave me $20 back.
