Very odd experience yesterday. We had reservations at 11am (the time they open). I stood outside in the rain, calling the restaurant 3 times with no answer, until I decided to try the handicap entrance. Finally a confused waiter opened the door for me and said their host didn’t show up. I’ve worked at many restaurants- unfortunately to have to open whether the host is there or not. You shouldn’t make the customer feel as if they are a burden for showing up to give you business.
We took our seat near the bar area. The music was blasting, and no one on staff could figure out how to turn it down. So, we got up again and moved to the other side of the restaurant.
We did get a free desert for the music fiasco- which I appreciated…
We ordered three cocktails which took about 20 minutes to make.
We ended up being there for over 3 hours and never felt completely comfortable. The server just seemed like he didn’t really know what to do with us and so just avoided us for the most part.
The experience left me feeling just… a little ick and wishing I spent my money elsewhere.
Advice to management- train your employees with some cross-functional ability (open the restaurant on time, answer the phone if it continues ringing, figure out how to turn down the music vs ask the guest to move). The food was great but the customer service...

The last time we tried to go here a few weeks back we were told they they “did not take reservations”. However, with today being Valentine’s Day my husband said he called earlier in the day just to be sure and to see what the reservation deal still was. He said he was told no reservations or call aheads still. Fast forward to when we show up at 6:15 to try and have dinner for 2 with no reservation and we are told that “we had to make a reservation”. I looked annoyed and dumbfounded at the manager hoping that was a joke. My husband even said “we were told there were no reservations” and she said that that’s correct for every night except for tonight on Valentine’s Day. We were offered a potential reservation two hours later or to find a spot at the bar which we luckily were able to. I’m sorry but that is unacceptable especially from an administrative standpoint. Everyone should at the very least be on the same page giving the same information. Read moreFirstly, we had an amazing bartender. We enjoyed her personality. We got our drinks and our app. One hour and 15 minutes later- we still haven’t received our meal. The bar was drad(maybe 8 people). When we asked about our dinner, we were somewhat dismissed. Then they brought our apps “AGAIN!!!@ we sent it back l. I went to the manager and she raised her voice the entire time talking to me. I ever asked her to lower her voice and she made me seem like I was crazy asking that. Twice I asked about our food- I told her how long we waited and she stated “I’m sorry it’s on it’s way.” So I told her we weren’t paying for anything. She didn’t care. Beyond rude and unprofessional. I’ll never go back again. I sat beside a man who is best friends with the owner and he told me he wasn’t surprised of. I asked about the ring he wore and it was bc his son played a sport (that’s 100% personal ok his end). I told him I was going to help this and he said I should.
