Hey, I just wanna say to the Luigi's Crew, I'm in there all the time and I see how people the "PUBLIC" talk to the workers in there & give them a hard time, while they keep their composure, keep in mind.. they try hard & work hard to make the corrections for "US" if it's their fault "or" our fault, PEOPLE...it happens... wherever you go!...But! since I work, Me, Myself & I .. for the public transportation I know "How it Can Be"...trust me I know...that dealing with the public is a challenge on the daily with different circumstances..Luigi's Crew ya'll do that good from what I always see, Y'all don't work under ball & chains anymore, Ha Ha! I travel from Lodi..that alone should say alot about this place and the staff, NOW! so "PEOPLE" just look at the changes inside the place & the energy from the past, what a difference ..Hello! that should tell you something about them as a whole! & vibe... where their trying to go, Oh! and by the way the Bald head guy Ro that's on the phones, DUDE always takes care of me and my wife to the "BEST OF HIS ABILITY" not to include his mannerisms & professionalism to adapt to any situation & conversation for a young dude this day in age it's really Heavenly to see that, Oh by the way "I Loved The Old School Music" in their it made me wanna buss out my old dance shoes, plus I love the new owner he stays on the frontline with his employee's & makes a helluva sandwich plus Dan if I remember his name got the BBQ ready that he personally cooks there and for the catering as we'll, I'm out...Thanks...
Read moreIt was our first time going to Luigi's today and it was not a good experience at all. There seems to be no real system for ordering during lunch rush and the bald phone order guy was really rude.
He didn't want to take our order when he was the only available staff member when we walked in and we had asked him nicely if we should order with him. He said he couldn't take our order because he was waiting for the phone to ring.
After waiting a while for someone else to be available, he then reluctantly took our order but made it seem like we were inconveniencing him.
Then he didn't ever let us know when our order was ready so we were left waiting around for a long time. And on top of it, he was rude to us saying HE was waiting for us to come get our order (when we were sitting at a table for a super long time expecting him to call out the name on the order like we saw other staff members do).
We got the food home and the order was wrong, too! And the same guy who took our order was the one prepping it. The sandwiches we did end up getting were okay, meats were good quality although there was way too much mayo. But after all that, definitely not worth the hassle. First and last time going...
Read moreMan, I miss the way it used to be. Saturday at noonnish...EMPTY when we got there, which should have been a clue. The order for 4 sandwiches was to go. Mum asked for a pound of salami. Two Luciano Pavarottis, my favorite bc of the garlic mayo and sprouts....on Dutch Crunch. Mum asked for the special, tri tip sandwiche, and a Gobble and Oink-never even got that far on the menu, lol. I love my Pavarotti. Prices? Up, up, up...same as other places. The sad part? It was to go....get home, plenty of mayo, but only signs of sprouts...avocad was not evenly or just not enough for such a hearty sandwiche- or what should have been one. Dutch Crunch was great, but it felt like too much of it bc of the measly filling. The G&O? Sadly, that not only missing the sprouts, but the other meant as well... had turkey, at least. The special also measly portions. Not like it used to be, not even close. Service? Not stellar, but it's a bit off-putting. I don't need a song and dance, but friendly and welcoming will get my repeat business. Won't be back. I will have to add a fried egg to the 1/2 sandwich i have left to make it filling, and add...
