I visit Concord regularly. Since I discovered this place, I always look forward to having one of their meals when I come to town. It earns a five-star rating on my scale because of this must-visit status.
The food is great--not your standard sandwich fare, but an eclectic selection including cevapi and gyro. The staff are friendly and willing to help you decide if you are unfamiliar with these offerings but are willing to experiment.
The inside seating options are limited--just a small number of tables, but this area is immaculate. There is outside seating too for the summer month(s?).
Plenty of parking in a quiet neighborhood, so it's actually good that the place is just slightly off the beaten path.
My only complaints are that all the menu items are not always available and that the portions could be slightly larger. Maybe they could offer two sizes so that those willing to pay extra could have the...
Read moreOMG you have to come here! My boyfriend and I were just passing through Concord yesterday, looking for a quick sandwich, and this little bistro popped up and wow, what a hidden gem.
From the moment we walked in, the place felt cozy and welcoming, with that perfect hole-in-the-wall charm. My boyfriend ordered the steak and cheese, and honestly, it might be the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked, melty cheese, and bursting with flavor. I decided to try the cevapi pocket, and the man at the counter told us he’d take his time on it because it’s that good. And he wasn’t kidding, it was hands-down amazing. Every bite was perfect.
We were so impressed that we’re already planning to come back, even if it means driving 35 minutes out of our way. This is the kind of place you stumble upon and immediately want to tell everyone about. A true hidden gem that you cannot keep to yourself. Seriously, go. You will...
Read moreHubs and I went for a quick lunch to try this place out on a Friday afternoon. Cutely decorated place with a few tables for eating in. Steady flow of customers. One guy running the register and making food on the day if our visit was very apologetic about the wait, though we didn't think there really was a wait. Menu was concise but had some interesting offers like family recipe sausage, gyros, karnache, salmon burger, lots of side dishes and paninis. I ordered an Italian panini and hubs got a dry rub roasted turkey panini and both were fabulous. I was wondering how well the guy would time the panini toasting since he was busy. But he pulled them off the grill with perfect timing for a toasty, melty panini. We will be back again because I saw homemade rice pudding in the cooler that I want to...
