Man I miss the original owners!! The new guy is nice, but man his crew just can't handle the amount of business that they get. They kept the same menu and the same signage, even the handwritten ones.. yet the quality and taste of the food has left with the original owners. The seasoning they put on the steak subs is yuck! And they are using a steam cap on the flat top to hurry up the cooking process...which would be fine if they knew how to properly cook with one. The steak subs come in a sopping wet mush roll because they are steamimg the steak with far too much water and not allowing the water to cook off before they scoop the watered.down steak into to a roll along with all the excess water. I went back for a re-make as I was given the enteir wrong sandwich. They handed me my new sub straight from the grill, it was so hot the steam burnt my mouth and the sub roll was compleat soggy yuckieness. Props for trying but loosenthat steam cap!! Customers would rather wait for their food to be cooked correctly than wait less to get a sopping wet lightly steamed steak sub. A lot of wrong orders going out. The plus, they have pumpkin cheese cake! Sadly after 25yrs of consistancy in the food, the change has me saddened and I no longer like...
Read moreSabrin Pizza used to be Dallas Pizza and owned by the owners of the bowling alley, so it has exclusive rights to serve food at the bowling alley. We were bowling and ordered food from the bowling alley bar, and they sent the order to Sabrin. The food took forever to arrive, and when it did, Sabrin brought the orders for several different parties all together without any idea which food went to which party. We had to fish through the bags of food to find ours because they were all mixed together, and eventually, the bowling alley bartender brought us a missing part of the order that we couldn't find. We got the Sabrin Pizza, which is like a Chicago-style Supreme Pizza. It was good if you like that style. The wings were small, misshapen, a lot of coating, and mushy gross meat like low quality frozen chicken nuggets - we didn't finish the wings. The onion rings were mostly dough. The mozzarella sticks were good. The French Fries were coated and tasted good. I wouldn't order from here through the bowling alley. Just eat before or...
Read moreThey are going down hill. I used to like them a lot but recently they aren't that good. The last pizza we ordered was obviously a re-heated pizza that perhaps another customer failed to pick up. We ordered a Pepperoni, Mushroom, and Bacon pizza but when we got it the pizza was barely warm and the bacon was not melted into the cheese like the other toppings but mostly just floating on top of the pizza. It was obvious that they just reheated a Pep & Mushroom and threw the bacon on top. We've ordered this same kind of pizza from them before and all the toppings were melted into the cheese and the cheese was fresher... but the this last pizza the cheese was stiff and the crust was too chewy as if it was old. Also their pizza doesn't taste as good as it used to it leaves a weird after taste and they use too much oregano. We used to think they were great. I understand that all Pizza places have times when they aren't as good but we felt like they were screwing us over by reheating an old pizza and charging us full price like...
