Truly historic in nature, the burial place of 14th President of the United States, Franklin Pierce. The Pierce plot is located in the Minot enclosure, a small fenced in area off the main area of the cemetery. Pierce's strict interpretation of the Constitution and his firmly held beliefs in States Rights during his presidency began the inexorable march of the nation toward the Civil War.

Visit President Franklin Pierce here. Nothing too fancy about the cemetery. There are some fairly old Graves here from the 1700s. It's worth the walk around the cemetery to find the older Graves.
