Ordered on the app, used my Papa rewards and was looking forward to eating the food I ordered, only to be disgusted and disappointed in what I witnessed while waiting for my order outside. The employees weren't wearing any mask, gloves, or taking any health precautions during this pandemic. I seen cross contamination everywhere. One employee was eating pizza, wiped her mouth then the counter and went back to working on people's orders! I also seen other health issues with workers, I didn't like anything about what I seen and drove off leaving my Papa rewards behind. I got a call 2 and half hours later asking if I was coming to pick up my order? I said no, and addressed my concerns of what I seen taking place while waiting. She told me that yes, the employee wasn't too sanitary around or with the food! Omg, just what I needed to hear, that confirms my experience! I ask then why is she working with food? She said there was no management on duty at the time. She also said she would have her manager call me, been 2 days and no phone call. If you value your health over pizza made from employees who take no health concerns or precautions while making your food, then keep ordering from this location! I will be stopping by in person to speak with the owner/manager. He has always been at location every time I picked up my food. This time, 5 employees that cared less about preparing food safely....Do not order from this location until owner gets employees...

Two nights ago, power went out across town, ours was out for over 5 hours. We couldn't make dinner so we decided to order delivery around 9:50pm at night. Almost every single place was closed except Papa John's. After calling several times, being put on hold and eventually hanging up to redial, I finally got someone to take my order.
She took my order, got my address, told me my total and charged my card. She then told me to expect my food between 45-60 minutes, they are running behind. Understandable so I said fine, that works. After 75 minutes, I decided to call to get a status update....sort of angry about waiting so long for dinner, she answers and says ohhh umm we are running really far behind tonight, it should be about another......40-60 minutes. So I said, that's ridiculous, cancel the order. And she said okay, I will, sorry about that and I hung up. We went to bed hungry that night.
In conclusion, I understand sometimes things happen, power was out and recently restored, everyone in Concord probably was ordering from them. Even still, I expect the situation to be handled better. A phone call saying it's going to be delayed, not taking my order to begin with if they couldn't deliver, anything would have been better than waiting for dinner that was never...

Made my order of pepperoni stuffed crust pizza with hamburg and pizza arrived an 1 hour an 48 minutes late I called them after 50 minutes have passed they said the driver just left pizza was not good no real flavor bland and cold to the touch taste like they use cheep pepperoni. My boyfriend didn't even know there was pepperoni in the crust the garlic sauce was not great didn't help the pizza to taste any better. It was a turn off and I love. I haven't been to Papa Johns in over10 years thought I'd give them another try. Now I remember why I stopped going. Sorry no thank you. I would be happier if I could have a refund so that I can take my business else where sad I turned down my favorite pizza from Dominos, but I turned it down becuase my boyfriend and I wanted to try something...
