Senor Agave Mexican Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Concord

I love trying out new places, especially when friends rave about them. So when a friend recommended this restaurant, I thought, “Why not?” Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the glowing reviews.

First off, the salsa didn’t taste fresh at all. It lacked that vibrant, flavorful kick you expect from a good salsa, which was a red flag from the start. Then came the fajitas. The chicken just didn’t have the seasoning or quality I was hoping for. On top of that, the side items—beans and rice—were served cold. I don’t know about you, but nothing ruins a meal faster than cold sides.

I also ordered an alcoholic beverage, thinking it would be a nice touch to go with the meal. But it turned out to be a weak drink, lacking the kick I expected. It was honestly disappointing.

Overall, I barely touched my food, and I just couldn’t justify the price for the lack of quality. To be honest, I won’t be coming back. It felt like a total waste of my money, and I left feeling unsatisfied, both in terms of the food and the experience. There are better places to enjoy a meal, and I’ll be looking...

I decided to give this place a try, but unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. The food was quite bland and lacked flavor, though the drinks were decent. The staff were very attentive and friendly, which I appreciated. However, when I arrived, I felt rushed to order. As it was my first visit, I needed more time to look over the menu, but the waitress kept coming back so quickly that I ended up just ordering the same dish as my friend.

The salsa options were limited, and the cheese dip had a strange texture—it was like dipping into solid lumps, almost plastic-like. Overall, it’s a hard no from me, but that’s just my opinion. I always encourage others to try it for themselves because everyone’s taste is different—what didn’t work for me might be great for...

Food was mid, water and tea tasted like it came out of a hose in your backyard ,service was not the best, waiter was nonchalant and uninterested in any issues we had…. I ordered the chicken nachos when it came out there was very little cheese on it. I asked if I could get a little more cheese sauce they said yes, took my plate back and returned it with more sauce but then charged me for a whole thing of queso… if you were going to do that bring me the whole bowl not just the extra you put on top.Normally I love this restaurant but after today it will be a while...
