I had a horrible experience last night at this restaurant and honestly, I probably won't return to any Subway because of it.
I ordered through the app. My 10 year old son and I went to pick up the order. When we got to the store there was 1 person in line and 2 people sitting at tables waiting for their orders. The Manager was aggravated. I was never welcomed. I was just given a very short nod and "I have 12 tickets (as she brushed them with her hand) you are third if no one else walks in." I politely said ok, and my son and I went to a table, sat down, and proceeded to play on his phone together while we waited patiently for her and the other teen (?) that was working to make the order. We never said a word to anyone, just played on his phone to pass the time. We waited about 15 minutes and the young man called my name. We grabbed 2 bags of chips and I told them "I still need to pay for these, they weren't in the order." They were just going to let me walk out with them. The young man seemed bothered that I had asked to pay. After paying, my son and I both said thank you, and we went to the car. Once in the car, I realized we had left the chips on the counter so we went back in, grabbed them, said thank you again and went home. When we got home I opened the sandwiches and the veggie sub had some sauce on it that I hadn't ordered and some of the wrong veggies. I called the store to ask them to remake it. What I got was the worst customer service I have ever had in my life! I first spoke to the manager. She said I could either come back that night or come in the next day. I told her I havent eaten dinner I would like it tonight. She complained about how busy they were. She put the guy on the phone and told him to write down the order. I tried to relay what I wanted. We never finished because next thing I know he asked if I was the one sitting at the table and I started to say yes, with my son, but was cut off. The male started yelling at me saying I had checked the order at the table (I hadnt). The order was handed to me over the glass not at the table. He told me it was my fault for not checking the order. The manager then took the phone and was not only short, but wouldn't even let me explain what was going on. She proceeded to berate me and kept saying they were busy. I kept telling her calmly that I understood, but I really just wanted my sandwhich replaced, but she wouldn't listen only spoke over me. She nastily said they closed in 15 minutes (they close at 9 and this was at 8:25) they were swamped. Again, not my problem, I just wanted it replaced. She continued on and on and made me feel as though my son and I had done something wrong while at the store and that we were out of line for even placing an order. I said my husband was on the way & she very condescendingly says hope he is easier to deal with than you! What?! It was absolutely ridiculous rude & uncalled for. He arrived and was told there were 12 people in front of him "I'll make it when I want or you can come make it yourself" by the guy. He replied that he just wanted it remade. Absolutely horrible and disgusting customer service! They wouldn't even look at the receipt or the returned sandwhich....

She the returned home to find out hers had no mustard and a different sauce on it. She then called the restaurant to explain the sandwich was wrong. This was a to go order. The young man proceeds to tell my wife it was her fault for not checking the sandwich while at the store then the manager tells her the something as she took the phone from the young man. My wife told them I was on my way back to get it remade and the manager says hope he's easier to deal with then you and we close in 15 minutes. When I got there they were very every rude. I asked the young man to make my sandwich and was told it will be made when I get to it so I had to wait on 5 other customers for 1 veggie sub with mustard. Then when the manager came over and asked the issue I tried to explain only to be told I don't need you to show me receipts or the sub and was extremely rude. I started to get rude back as any human would. And just asked to have the sandwich remade. These two workers really need a class in customer service. I will not be returning to this store which I'm sure isn't an issue for this store but the experience left me very disappointed in the subway chain. I have never had an issue at this location and was honestly my favorite in the concord nc area. The manager did apologize as I was leaving for her actions and as I told her I was never upset just wanted things corrected. As I said above this was a very rude and disrespectful visit. Read moreUsually I don't leave reviews, but on Saturday 26th I went into this location like I have plenty of times but had the worst service I've experienced there in months of going to this location.
The store was empty other than one person ahead in line - I asked for a footlong chicken teriyaki sub, and everything was fine until one of the workers behind the counter interrupted me asking what sauces I wanted before the lettuce, pickles, etc. - I asked her to hold on and do the extras first so that I didn't forget anything. She rolled her eyes. Whatever, that's fine, maybe she's having a bad day. Near finishing I asked for a little more mayo than she added and was told "I don't know how I'm going to close this one!" and throwing her hands up in a non-kidding manner. I ignored it still, knowing saying something wouldn't do any good and stepped toward the register to get away from her. As she (just as easily as normal) finished and wrapped the sandwich she continually cast sarcastic glances at the manager who was ignoring her as she was dealing with totals at the register.
Completely inappropriate customer service. I'll also be sending a email to their corporate inbox to let them know that the woman in question really doesn't behave professionally. I will not be returning to this location - I'll go to the other one around five minutes further away, if that is the quality of treatment you're expecting at...
