Just visited this location. Very unfortunate visit. The food was good but the way the general manager handled things, not so much. I assume the man that helped us was the assistant and he was kind and was trying to help the situation. What was the situation? Nothing crazy serious mind you, my sister and I visited this locaion because I recommended the food of Slim Chickens to her based on the huntersville location mind you. We placed two orders in drive-thru and that was fine no worries there, everyone was nice. We pulled up to the window, got our drinks and receipts, while headed to the 2nd window, I took a drink of my dr pepper, we could tell the syrup was low because it tasted light. My sister and I both got dr pepper so I tried hers as well to make sure I wasnt crazy and it tasted the same, low on syrup. My sister and I have both worked in fast food and we've dealt with soda machines and changing syrups for the soda systems. I myself am a general manager at a fast food restaurant so I get it. Yes I am aware the store opened yesterday and understand the stress of an opening. When we pulled up to the 2nd window, the man we assume is the assistant, handed out one of our orders. My sister informed him about the dr pepper tasting off and that the syrup is probably low. (Honestly we were just trying to help) he let us know to pull forward and he would fix it for us so we thanked him and pulled forward (keep in mind we had only received one of our two orders) the man came out once he was able to and brought us one of our dr peppers remade (the medium) when we informed him we had a 2nd dr pepper as well which was large he did question us but he was nice about it. We also let him know about our 2nd order that we were waiting on. He went in to fix it and then came out because his GM, we assume, did not believe us and wanted the receipt, which we were happy to give him and understand. He confirmed that we indeed had a large dr pepper and went to fix it for us along with bringing out the 2nd order that we had not received yet. We thanked him for his help because we really were not trying to be a pain.. we left and got rid of our drinks that were low on syrup because we really were not trying to double up on drinks we just wanted them to know to help them not receive a lot of complaints. Overall the experience left a bad taste in our mouths sort to speak so much so my sister has expressed her desire to not go back. Unfortunately for her they did not give me the dessert jar (the pecan jar) so we called and let them know and will be going back to pick it up. I will say the food was good, the experience just kind of turned in to a mess, and the GM made us feel unwelcomed. And I was so excited to have a slim chickens...
Read moreI love this place because I love wings 😊My first day eating there ordered to go someone left my Potato salad out😔called they made up for it by giving me a free 🙄Went back on Thursday of yesterday went through the drive through 😁I ordered four P Garlic wings and four honey BBQ wings with Ranch Dressing added 1 two cole slaws and a okra she asked if I wanted a meal I asked her would a meal be cheaper she said no the same so I replied no 😁I checked my ordered after a while getting it I started not to check it I remembered the last time they forgot my Potato salad so I checked it Mine you 😁I had four P garlic sauces and four bbq sauces no Wings Lawd 😁I had the bag giving it back to her as I asked where is my wings she was looking at me like 🙄I asked if I need to come inside she said if I want to so I did 😁I ask for the manager this guy ask was I just at the drive thru I told him yes my wings wasn't in my bag I just paid 18.00 for sauces and the rest of my order he told me that the person took my order was confused 😁What no I was the confused one wanting to know where was my wings Really😁What was so confusing about that the second time around they wanted me to get another free meat 😁 wasn't for me to get two orders wrong in two days 😊😂From now on I'll check my order and order like a 4 year old I guess 🤔I STILL LOVE THEIR WINGS COLE SLAW AND POTATO SALAD THO 😂😂They have good fo od tho...
Read moreLocation needs to work on customer service. I had tried ordering two sauces on the side and I was misunderstood and a meal was added instead of just two dipping sauces. When I got to the window and saw the receipt I let them know that a meal was added and I was just trying to order two dipping sauces to try the flavors. The manager who came to refund seemed to be immediately annoyed she had to refund and I tried explaining I was just trying to order two sauces to dip and not another meal in a sauce. After being refunded I got the pick up window and there was no sauce for the meal at all and I just asked at that point if I could just have one. They then said I they thought the manager put on in there and I checked and there wasn’t. When I said there wasn’t and if I could just have one they went in the back again and wouldn’t just give me one and made me pull up. Then the manager came out and asked me again what I was looking for. And I repeated was just looking for one sauce to dip fries in and I didn’t get one with my meal. She then said that will be 42 cents then. At that point I was over it. I get making a mistake but would’ve been nice for them to be more accommodating after.
