Soco's Gyros — Restaurant in Concord

Update: I got responses from Gyro and Postmates on how the incident was resolved after leaving public reviews and contacting them. Hadn't the Gyro employees ignored my situation and suggested me to deal with Postmates myself in the first place, I would have not been such furious.

Have updated the rating from 1* to 3* (neutral).

Horrible business practice at Soco's Gyros and absolutely not recommend to anyone because of their poor and irresponsible customer service. I paid for my orders via Postmates and arrived the restaurant within 10 minutes after placing orders just to realize that they already GAVE MY ORDERS TO SOMEONE ELSE! No refund. No sorry. No customer's identity check for pick up. The girl simply said that 'your orders were already picked' and that's all. They told me to claim back to Postmates because Postmates gets my money. Really? You will eventually have the money while the tech company has to be responsible for your mistake?

Worst business...

Tried this place with my family thinking it would be ok by reviews. Food was over priced and horrible. Let’s start by the building looks like it should no way open to public. Inside was unclean not necessarily dirty but not clean to serve food in. Paint cracking floor grimy looking. Now if you buy 5 gyros, 5 fries, and 5 cans of coke and spend $91 they should be good or edible these were NOT. Start with the gyro meat was place on a griddle to warm and most of mine was crispy burnt very small amount of tzatziki sauce a lot of lettuce 2 small paper thin tomato slices. Terrible! The fries came straight out of a bag of ore-Ida crinkle cut that they dusted with orange color no flavor supposed spice. The best thing I had was a can of coke. Will not be back and recommend no one else goes...

I used to go to Soco's as a kid and I always meant to come back as an adult because I had fond memories, but I assumed that they were colored with nostalgia. Oh boy was I wrong. I'm not a gyro "expert" or anything, so I can't guarantee that this is the best gyro in town, but I've had a few in my day and it is without a shadow of a doubt the best gyro I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Has any food item ever made you literally drool onto your plate as you were eating it? The deluxe lamb gyro made me drool onto the plate as I was eating it. This gyro turned me into a god d*mn animal. I haven't stopped thinking about it all...
