You need a “now hiring sign”. The kitchen staff is not moving fast enough. Or maybe you’ll realize you need a closing sign….
My order was taken by an automated voice, so your customers will assume one of a few things A) You have more humans to make food and get orders done faster (incorrect) B) You cannot find people to work at your establishment (You can’t help this, but it doesn’t look like you’re trying) C) You have found a way to cut more costs and have less humans working leading to slower times and quality (What I experienced today)
I was fourth in line, each car was served in about five minutes all of which directed to curbside parking. My order of supremes took 30 minutes. My wife’s family lives down the parkway. We come from all over so invariably someone stops at the local bojangles on the way in or out. It is always a disaster. We always laugh at how silly we are to think it might change and about how poor the service is here. I hope we can learn to fool ourselves no longer.
Update* I just received my food, I ordered 5 supremes. I got 4 and a piece of crust the size of my thumb (5’7” I was never going to play ball with the boys). I took the crust back and was welcomed by the young man moving at minimum wage on meal delivery duty to the curbside parking spots . He welcomed Victoria to the desk who seemed to be in charge of food prep. She preceded to go on about this not being her fault. Thankfully a more adult woman, likely the manager for the day, made this blunder right. Jesus Christ. I will use all the breath I have in me to steer customers clear from this bojangles.

Read moreThis was the worst fast food experience. I place my order which was a 4 piece dinner and 5 piece dinner at the drive-thru speaker. The person read the order back accurately. I drove to the window and the person handed me my drinks. Yet, the whole experience went downhill from there. They brought out my food and thankfully I looked to see if it was all there. The 5 piece box was missing a tender and the sides were wrong. I told the person and they brought me another box. By this time, the line was backed up with people blowing the horn and my son was crying. So, I pulled out the line to start comforting my son. After my son was settled, I looked in the last box they gave me. While the missing tender was provided, they gave me another side but it was still wrong. It was well past my son's feeding time, so I headed home but called the store manager. She apologized and stated I could come back for replacement box dinners as she would leave a note for the staff. I told her that it would be a few days as I would be out of town. She told me that I would not have an issue getting the boxes later. I returned a few days later for the replacement boxes and the staff was unaware of any note. They had me talk with a manager, who needed to call another manager to see if she knew about my situation. Read moreTERRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE. in addition to being out of chicken again, the drive thru now has some some computer voice and you cannot talk to a real person. It's slow to respond and got my order wrong. No amount of talking to the stupid thing corrected my order so I ended up with the wrong food. Yet another reason to shop the competition. I paid a premium for food that isn't even what I ordered and had no option to talk to a real person. Again, do not go here.
I swear every time I go to this location it gets worse and worse. Today in September 2023 they were out of chicken and macaroni and cheese. In the drive-through speaker was broken. 15 minute wait for them to cook food and there was no one in line in front of us.

Food is ok. Slowest service in Concord. Twice now they were completely out of chicken. How does that even happen???? Drive through is always at least 15 min, usually much longer. In the 10 years that has been here, it doesn’t get better. That’s why I very rarely go. And each time I go I’m reminded why I don’t go.
Update May 2023: no better. Tried them again and they were out of chicken. Again. All they had were tenders. How does a chicken place run out of chicken over and over for years. I wish a competitor would open...
