Read moreCame and made a medium-sized order, one of the things was biscuits and gravy. It took me leaving with my other items and getting home to realize they didn't give me them. Went back, and I was told they didn't have any more gravy. It would have been nice to be told that while I was there, but I let it go. I called my friend to figure out what else he wanted, and on that same phone call, found out that another order for different friend a came out wrong too. That order was supposed to have hash browns that were topped, covered, and smothered, and it didn't have the chili (covered). My friend also mentioned ham - the cashier informed me ham = chopped. I knew I didn't say that, so that was my bad, but the chili was also still missing. My friend with the biscuits and gravy decided on a ham, egg, and cheese hash brown bowl. I ordered that, the cashier hooked me up, probably because I left each employee a $10 tip the first time I came around.
I waited a full 20 minutes (which is a long time at 4:15 am) and was handed a cup of chili, ham, and a bacon, egg, and cheese toasted sandwich with hash browns. I reminded the cashier what I had ordered. He proceeded to argue with me that I was wrong (he said I was wrong twice), that I absolutely ordered the sandwich and hash browns, that it was what I had pointed to on the menu. He also went back on forth on whether he wrote it down or not, first he said he did, then he realized he hadn't because he just saw what I supposedly pointed to on the menu, then he again said he wrote it down. He asked me if I wanted to continue to wait while they made the hashbrown bowl, but after waiting an extra 20 minutes for them to correct their original mistakes, and being berated about not knowing what came out of my own mouth, I didn't have much hope that they were gonna get it right this time, and I wasn't trying to wait longer. Really regret that $30 tip I dropped the first...
Read moreWaffle House offers affordable diner food that never fails to satisfy hunger. Their food surely isn't gourmet, but the consistency among every location is fair and commemorable. It's their low-priced menu, ghastly ambiance, and extensive operating hours that make dining there a true one of a kind experience. A hub of memories among men, family, and lovers, Waffle House has given so much to us all. A staple of my late night hangouts and all those early grinds, I have so much to owe to the unfathomable Waffle House. It broke my heart last night when me and my boys, my people, dined at the Waffle House at 278 Concord Parkway South to become face to face with a rather rude server. A dark-haired gentleman server wearing an awesome Spider-Man jacket sighed at our requests, rushed our conversations, and tainted an otherwise wonderful dining experience. I understand if the location is short staffed or if the gentleman was having a bad day, but that behavior is completely uncalled for. There's so much love to be held in the world and it's a shame to see disrespect coming from a place where I...
