All these reviews sound bought to me. It’s not to often I leave a bed review. Food was gross. The fried devil eggs might look good on a plate but that’s about it. They were tasteless. Taste like they’ve been in the freezer for months. There was nothing sautéed on the pasta dish like they said it was. Warmed up tomatoes is gross, pasta had way too much garlic and that’s all you could taste. The fried bologna cheeseburger, thought it was something special. It was just a cheeseburger with a slice of fried bologna on it. Greaser than hell. Fell apart. Also tasteless. Even your Coke tasted water down! That’s pretty bad! The stuff we had was not good! No way this place is 4.7 star pub. It’s not even a hidden gem. Not even close to gem status. Wendy’s, Dunkin’ Donuts or even Sheetz would have been better. Felt bad for the server we tipped her kinda nice. The chairs I was afraid to move. I was afraid I was gonna fall through it. We didn’t even keep the pasta. I drove down to your dumpster and threw it out. $45? Nope! Way too much for gross food. Gordon Chef Ramsay would be throwing up if he ate your food. Jon Taffer would be yelling at you about how that place is rundown. I will not be...
Read moreWe come out to the Youghiogheny glass sale once a year and We always hit up O'Donnell Pub. They have the best food around but what sets them off are the Pennsylvania crafted beer well for us the cider on tap a new one each time. This time they didn't have the cider on tap (supply chain issues everywhere). The did make us Apple Cider Mule's that wer the best maybe even better then some of the ciders we've had. You have to try the drunkin devil eggs for a appetizer. He had Alfredo with bow tie noodles, creamy sauce and medallion tips. I had a burger with fried egg and sweet potatoes fries. All the food was delicious but the service over powers that. All three ladies worked together. We felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant but the place was full. They got to know us and we learned alot about them, the town and life...
Read moreAll PROs. The only CON is a recommendation only and not a reason to not visit. The interior needs to be spruced up and have better ambience that signifies the QUALITY OF THE FOOD. The bar area looks like a well-used 90's hangout. The drinks were delicious. The MACARONI AND CHEESE- well, I cannot tell you enough how amazing it was. I only got 2 bites of it and wished I had ordered it. I had the Guiness glazed salmon (skip the salmon and go for chicken- it is PA afterall), but the glaze made up for the mediocre salmon. The asparagus cooked perfectly. The fries fresh for my partner. Again, the MAC AND CHEESE TO DIE FOR. Then we ordered the cheesecake- homemade and divine. Nothing short of perfection. Dayton our server was super friendly, but no overly so. Only disappointment was we came on a Sunday and could not go...
