The Paintroom Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Connellsville

My family and I used to always go here. I've spent a lot of money there. Never really had a problem. But what happened last night....I will never go back. Ordered 2 steak salads cooked medium, both were VERY well done. The lettuce was old and wilted. My order came to nearly $70 and my family was very unhappy with just the overall quality of the food. But here is why I will never go back. Ordered curbside and the waitress was beyond rude. And I mean beyond rude. If she was having a bad day, she surely took it out on me. Was in a complete hurry to get rid of me. Forgot half of my order. Then tossed the bag containing the rest of my order at my daughter sitting in the passenger seat! Obviously this now upset me and when I said something to her she went off and threatened to "blast me all over social media". Then as I was sitting there going through my order to make sure everything was there, she came to the restaurant window and was taking pictures of my vehicle. I definitely will not be...

The salad was one tiny strip of a green pepper, one small tomato wedge, and lettuce. I brought my steak home to see if I could get a sear on it because it has that taupe look when a person doesn't know how to cook a steak. When I turned it over to season, there was a large cut in it, presumably so they could check the doneness. I order rare, so searing at home would've already overcooked it, so that huge cut only increased the overcooking. So, if you're looking for a good steak, go somewhere else because whoever cooked that doesn't know what they're doing. The fries were the only things that were good.

Other than that, the waitress was very nice and professional. The busboy was hustling, and the atmosphere was nice. If I ever return, I'll stick with basic bar foods that don't require much...

This place has the worst food in Fayette, greene and Westmoreland county. that I have eaten in my 31 years of trying food and having a fun night out for dinner. Then when you ask them to fix the food that was to hard, over cooked and burnt, they ignore you and leave them on the table. Then when you ask for the owner they send out a disrespectful cook that tries to tell you that your food is okay to eat. My nephew hurt is tooth biting into a bone-LESS chicken wing.
