I attended a wedding last Saturday and I absolutely would not recommend this catering company to anyone. They are the most unprofessional, unsympathetic, inappropriate catering company I have ever come across. The wedding was running an hour and a half late approaching 8:30 pm. The flower girl and ring bearer are toddlers and had nothing to eat and were up later past their bed time. We begged the caterers to feed the kids twice and were told no although the food was ready to be served. They had to wait for the bride to say the ok. So we spoke to the wedding planner who told them that it was ok to serve the kids. Again, we were told “no” and were told they could eat a cold roll or some spinach. (Really?!) The father of the other toddler was so frustrated he started to get some food for her because she was close to tears. At this point, one of the catering team actually yanked the tongs out of his hands and slammed down the lid of the serving dish on him which scared the two year old and caused her to cry, creating an even bigger scene. I have never in my life seen anything as unprofessional as that moment. I ended up having to send my three year old home screaming and crying due to hunger. I had some choice words for the caterer because what parent would ever want to see their kid denied food in such an aggressive way? 5 minutes later they opened up the line for food. They couldn’t have served a 2 and 3 yr old food 5 minutes ahead of time? We were made to feel humiliated and like criminals for begging for food for a couple of toddlers. When the other wedding guests found out how were treated, they were as angry as we were! To top it off, the next day, the bride told me she told the caterers it was ok to serve kids first. She was livid. So the lesson here is, if you’re going to a wedding that’s being catered by these people, make sure you pack food for your children so you don’t feel the humiliation that we did for having...

With all of the competition in the food service industry. It's important to make sure that you impress upon your customers they're important and you want them to return. I did not get that feeling. For that reason, I will not return. Where I spend my money is important to me.
I love to patronize small businesses and get great pleasure from helping them grow. Unfortunately, this establishment has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Before I visit any small business, I always go online and visit the website. The online menu allows you a baked potato when you order the sampler meat platter. When you go inside and order the same thing, the cashier claims you don't get a potato or any side. Also, when ordering online, you choose your selection of meats. The cashier contradicts this as well, claiming you have to get one of each meat selection. I asked the cashier if she would honor what's on the website, and she said no.
I decided to order the sampler meat platter to try it anyway. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes for it, the meat was still cold. I took a bite of the chicken while there and didn't like it. This chicken tasted like it was old and spoiled. All I could taste was vinegar and salt. I politely asked if she could give me a substitute? As I was speaking to the cashier, she said no and walked away. I wasn't the only person that she was rude to. While I was waiting for my food, I sat and watched her be rude to at least 3 other women.
To add insult to injury, she went into the invoice and changed the dollar amount. Seemingly, to give herself a tip, I most certainly did not leave her a tip.
Late that night, very early in the morning, my son and I (both tasted the chicken) began to regurgitate. I definitely feel the chicken was old and made us...
Read moreFirst I want to say that food is rather sparse in Montgomery with only a few places to eat and most not very good. I was first introduced to uncle bob's when they were located up in stowaway marina. When uncle Bobs was in stowaway it was a counter service restaurant with excellent fresh BBQ at a reasonable price. The pit was right outside so you knew the food was fresh and the price and portion sizes were right inline with what you expect to pay. When Uncle Bobs moved to Montgomery they changed the format of the restaurant to a sit down table service joint. Given the limited choices of restaurants out here we immediately tried it. While the food was ok the service was among the worst that I have ever experienced. The BBQ was also no longer as fresh as it seemed to be with the quality varying highly. Shortly after open we also noticed a significant reduction in portion size and a significant increase in price. A small 2 meat plate with a drink will now run you a $20. I am also a purist when it comes to meat and believe quality meat should not require heavy sauces or flavors on it to be enjoyed. When a to go order is places uncle bob's places a large handful of pickles and onions in the box even if you ask them not to almost to hide the flavor of the meat. We have tried many times with this place but I think it is...
