As a college student, I love to grab something quick, easy, and affordable that still tastes amazing. Today, I stopped by Blossom Tea for a quick banh mi thit nuong (grilled pork) before class, and to be honest, it was the best decision I’ve made today.
The banh mi was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The thit nuong was perfectly marinated — juicy, slightly smoky, a little sweet, and rich with flavor. I could taste the depth of the marinade in every bite.
What really brought it all together was the balance: the tangy pickled veggies, the freshness of the cucumber and cilantro, and that creamy, buttery layer of mayonnaise that added the perfect richness without overpowering the banh mi. It was just the right touch of indulgence in the middle of a long school day.
Everything tasted like heaven, and I could tell there was care in every detail — not rushed, not dry, not bland. Just a well-made, flavorful banh mi.
I highly recommend y’all come to Blossom Tea and try it out! I’m definitely coming back to get more for my...
Read moreI went to get a massage this afternoon and noticed the Blossom Tea next door. Something just made me decide to pop in after my massage. There were 3 young ladies working and taking care of the customers ahead of me. I was greeted by a pretty young lady; Jennifer. Come to find out, she is the proprietor. I don’t have much experience selecting Vietnamese teas or coffees other than just Vietnamese coffee. She educated me a bit about the teas. I had explained to her I am diabetic so I have to be careful with the sugars. She was super helpful; customer service at its best. I had the Thai Black Tea (with flan). I can not express enough how nice and accommodating she was. You just don’t see that much anymore. I asked if she was the owner. She replied yes and informed they are a new business. Love it! It’s a pleasure to support small businesses like this one. I live in the Heights, no where near The Blossom Tea, but rest assured I will return, maybe tomorrow for a pork sandwich! Thank you, Jennifer. Good luck...
Read moreI just moved to the area from Katy, and this is one of my new favorite milk tea / bahn mi stops! (THEY'RE $6 EACH BANH MI! You cant say no to that!!) Their house special milk tea is so delicious, and my boyfriend ordered the youth tea which was really refreshing. We came back recently to order some sandwiches. I had the chicken bahn mi (it was like a creamy shredded chicken similar to chicken salad, omg I loved it), and my boyfriend ordered one of the pork options. The gentleman convinced us to get an order of egg rolls and we were impressed with them - I'm really happy we ordered them 😅 oh, and the sandwiches are definitely a good size and not small. The staff here is so friendly and amazing, the inside is very cute and seasonal, and I love looking at the claw machines when I go inside. They have pusheen, pokemon, sanrio, and other plushies. There's plenty of seating and they do have some board games to play in...
