Update:I decided to add a star. My sister loves their Spaghetti So much. After my first post, the manager did reach out to me. Even though i didnt return his call i still appreciate that he tried. Thanks Bulldogs Pizza
When I first tried Bulldogs Pizza I was a satisfied customer. Then I submitted an order one morning in person requesting 5 spaghetti with meatball dinners to be delivered in the evening. When it was delivered I was told they ran out of meatballs so 1 meal was with meat sauce. The other 4 dinners had either 1 or 2 meatballs total and the garlic bread was undercooked in all the dinners. I was given cake balls as an apology instead of contacting me in advance to inform me there was a supply and demand problem. But I let that issue pass and tonight I ordered online 4 spaghetti dinners. This time I was called and told they only had enough ingredients for 1 spaghetti after already charging my credit card. So I made a decision to change my order to 2 large pizzas and one spaghetti so it would equal what was spent. When my order arrived, this time I was given 1 small slice of cheese cake to apologize for the inconvenience. Just 1 slice huh? How do I share that with 4 people? Why wasn't I given 4 slices as an apology? So the issue I have is supply and demand. Its obvious my family likes their spaghetti, but after two failed attempts of not being able to supply what was requested I'm no longer going to purchase from Bulldogs...
Read moreGreat value, good flavor, an excellent place to come eat, especially for a group.
The pizzas here are excellently flavored and generous with the toppings. The crust is bready with a slight chew and the sauce had a nice tomatoey tartness and bright flavor. A solid pizza overall. The salad was simple, but included more than I expected. It wasn't just lettuce and tomato, but had red onion, green peppers, cucumber, and cheese as well.
The prices though? Those really put this place over the top. Weekdays for 8 bucks you can get the lunch special, a 2 topping 10 inch pizza that I definitely couldn't finish, a fair sized salad, and a bottled drink. Honestly, you could feed two people with this lunch special.
If you have a larger group and want to try a variety of pizzas, go for the pizza buffet on the weekends, 11am-3pm. Pay a flat rate per person, and you get a deal similar to the lunch special. A bottled drink, a solid salad, and all the pizza you want. They'll keep bringing out whatever pizzas you want as you finish them. Everybody can have a slice (or 10) of a variety of pizzas this way for only 8 bucks a head. Wonderful price at a tasty place.
Alone or in a group, Bulldogspizza is a great place to get lunch, any day...
Read moreI increased my rating to four stars as today the owner contacted me. He did not get my initial review and was very accommodating today. He made my order right, which I appreciate and we will give Bulldogs another try, this time ordering just the hand tossed crust which was good. Thank you Bulldogs - five stars for customer service! Original reivew: We recently ordered for the first time. We ordered one hand tossed pizza and one thin crust. The hand tossed pizza was good, not great, but passable, although very short on sauce and a bit overcooked. The extra cheese pizza on thin crust was another story. The crust was slick, like cardboard and undercooked. Not sure how the crust could have seemed undercooked though when the cheese was burned. It tasted like a cheese substitute as the cheese was like a plastic film, hard as a rock. The sauce on this pizza was almost non existent. I would normally not leave a bad public review on my first try of a restaurant, but I filled out the feedback option from my order three days ago and as yet have not heard any apology for a bad pizza. Very expensive pizza for the...
