I’m not going to lie I have never had a good experience here this place should shut down. I went there to celebrate my friends birthday and we went there at night for a dinner ! We had fun but the food was not that great! now, I ordered a bison burger and when it arrived it genuinely tasted like the Biltmore 😭 old .and outdated. it tasted like it was actually old and stored away!! the bread tasted like it was a million years old! and this burger was $25 nothing there is cheap…. I get it it’s the Biltmore and stuff.. it’s supposed to be expensive and amazing right? well Wrong 😑 I bet you there wasn’t even a chef working at that time well, ok my mother who is a chef that graduated in one of the top schools in France 🇫🇷 wanted to try the chefs special dish well when it got there the food was cold ,the vegetables were soggy 😐 and the dish was the most expensive one on the menu card well it was the worst out of them all….. !!!! Okay so we asked for our dishes to be taken back because we really didn’t like them we ordered a New York steak and when it came round the dish was great now there supervisor came out to apologize and she was being rude about it I asked her nicely and told her it was ok because I didn’t wanna be rude and I understand sometimes the kitchen had problems or had the food already made to take out , but that shouldn’t be the case here because it’s the Biltmore ❗️my friend ordered a drink before that and it was the worst drink we have ever had…. 🙂‍↔️ smh 🤦‍♀️ not only was it $20 but it tasted so bad he didn’t want to drink it or return it because he felt bad so he drank it . now we payed for our bill witch was more than $800 and tipped on top of that the waiter wasn’t a bad person and served us well, we had a friend that works there and he used his employee discount it was only 20% it wasn’t a big deal but then he went to work the next day . and his boss asked him what happened in the birthday dinner now I’m assuming that the workers complained that we took our dishes back ,his supervisor asked him how much we tipped and said to him that he had standards to follow because he works at the Biltmore now What the hell is wrong here you may ask ? I really don’t think it’s appropriate for this situation to happen because it’s not our fault the food wasn’t up to good standards and he shouldn’t get questioned it’s not like we made a disaster and did something wrong we even tipped more than 50% on the bill so why would you complain about anything ! We left before the establishment closed we even asked when it would close so we wouldn’t be an inconvenience my friend that works there asked for one of the bartenders because he was from the country that he is from and he wanted to let him know that there are other people from that country that work at the Biltmore and he wanted to acquaint him self with him. Now why would that be a problem and why would the restaurant complain to someone elses supervisor? is it because someone from our table worked there ? He was going as a paying costumer why can’t he get treated as such! I think that’s disrespectful and inappropriate!! I really dislike the Biltmore ! , so many things go on with the employees and it doesn’t get reported to anyone people don’t get treated fairly and even worse the food sucks 🙂‍↔️😂🙂 don’t come here and give your money to these rich people I rather give my money to local businesses that actually need it and that would probably give better service and better food than these people. at less than the price that the Biltmore asks for now the waiters were so nice it’s not there fault just again the kitchen nd supervisors can’t get there act together for this being a Forbes reviewed place I don’t really think they deserve those 5 starts...

Absolutely perfect from start to finish! We were fortunate to secure a reservation we placed while driving over from the Biltmore. The hostess was extremely accommodating and charming. She seated us early due to a miscommunication on my end during the lunchtime rush. Our server, Ana, was indeed proficient, benevolent, and an expert in well timed service. I must say it was the most outstanding service I have received in my entire 58 years! (Former fine dining server here.) It was simply a pleasure to meet Ana! The dirty martini…my, oh my…amazing! The vermouth was obviously only waved over the perfect martini! We began with cornmeal fried calamari, which was absolutely the most delectable calamari we have ever tasted. The Maria Rose sauce was a wonderful compliment to the deep fried rings and tentacles! Our entrées, which followed a second order of calamari, were incredibly satisfying! The shepherd’s pie, lobster roll, served open faced, and accompanied by crispy Old Bay chips, and naked deep fried wings were absolutely mouthwatering dishes our family devoured! We concluded our meal by sharing a decadent tavern chocolate cake coupled with vanilla ice cream along with rich espresso for dessert. We will return to enjoy Cedric’s wonderful atmosphere, premiere service, and exceptional food during visits to the Biltmore. Sincere thanks to everyone on staff. We highly recommend Cedric’s...

My wife and I visited The Biltmore on Sunday, and while the mansion was the most impressive and opulent place I have ever seen in person, the village and Cedric's Tavern were more like visiting a Disney property. The staff was very nice and attentive however the food itself was bland and not at all as described. We ordered drinks, which were fine (although a $14 Hendricks and tonic is a little hard to swallow). To start we got the ham and cheese fondue, it came out nice and hot with beautiful toasted bread but it had absolutely no flavor at all, was very oily and the star of the show was the toast. For mains my wife ordered the shepherds pie, which was described as a traditional recipe with veg and lamb, and I ordered the vegetable tart. What we received was not at all what either of us were expecting. My wife's Shepard's pie ended up being more of a cottage soup covered in mashed potato, with a few pieces of ground lamb (which she had to search for), very little veg and a rather flavorless and thin broth. My vegetable tart was closer to a mini flat bread covered in a layer of thick cheese which masked the flavor of the mushroom, onion and squash that was actually in it. Overall a very disappointing stop, bad enough that in future visits to The Biltmore we will be avoiding this tavern and village...

As always, Cedric's was a great dining experience. It was a beautiful sunny day, and sitting outside on the patio was so nice. Their creative food, beautiful setting and restaurant in Biltmore Estate's Antler Park, along with the very attentive wait staff make it a joy! I was blessed to be there with my daughter and her three boys. The oldest boy (13) wanted the pretzel rolls, which combined with the mustard butter and made in house pickles, were so good! Everyone enjoyed their entrees: daughter had the Reuben, oldest had the pub burger. I had the creamy potato leek soup---so yummy, and the shepherd's pie, along with the middle boy (age 11). He ate every bite, but I couldn't finish mine because of the appetizer and soup. What I did eat was delicious though, and a real treat. The youngest (age 6) had the corn pups with fruit...and a taste of everyone else's! :) We passed on dessert and had ice cream from the Creamery later, after enjoying the greenhouses and gardens. My daughter and I also did a wine tasting before we left...always fun! All in all, starting with Cedric's set the tone for a pleasant day at Biltmore...highly recommend! *Sorry, no food pictures...too busy digging into it!

I was so excited to try this restaurant on my first trip to Biltmore. I looked at the reviews and menu online and ultimately chose this restaurant for a birthday dinner because the menu included buffalo calamari and a lobster roll. The restaurant itself is nice, clean and live music playing. The food was AWFUL. It looks good, but tastes awful. I ordered the buffalo calamari as the appetizer. The buffalo sauce tasted like a cheap bottled Chinese sauce and the calamari itself was chewy. For my entree, I ordered the lobster roll and my friend ordered the steak. The lobster roll literally tasted like bleach. It's a shame because they put so much lobster on the roll, but I couldn't eat half of it. The old bay chips weren't good but I don't like those type of chips anyway, so I can't really give a fair opinion on those. I tried my friend's steak and we both agreed it tasted weird. The seasoning was off and the steak itself almost seemed like it had be broiled cooked, not grilled. Neither one of us finished our plates. Our bill was $100 and we left a 20% tip because our waitress was friendly, but we will not be back here. After we left this restaurant, BOTH of us got sick.
