I had an awful experience. I have ordered pho before and it wasn't the best I had but it was the closest place to my home so I defaulted here. I have ordered to go prior. They are fair in their portion of meat and veggies. However my experience last night will not allow me to return.
This was my experience with two employees. The owner I'm guessing has morals and did apologize but the way 2 of the front end people handled this situation is the type of character that small business needs to handle better or they get this type of scathing review.
I ordered my pho to go at 625PM, my son had a baseball game so I told them it will prob be about 20 min or so until we pick up. Well it ended up being 35 min, I arrived at 7. I paid for my order and the cashier took my payment and handed me the bottom of an order receipt. I waited for 40 min, asking periodically to see where my order is. She said it was coming. Well 740 came and nothing. I asked the cashier and another woman where my order was and they said they don't have any record of it if I don't have the bottom of the order receipt. I gave them the bottom and they said I must have already picked it up they don't have any order. As in I picked up my order took it home and came back a second time to get the same order twice!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS????
The cashier person looked right at me and said she didn't recall taking payment. I went into the receipt catcher and pulled it out, went into my online banking to show it was charged and still they wouldn't refund or get me what I ordered saying I never paid or already picked up. Finally the owner came out and took care of it and said they would get my order ready I said no thanks I will not give this business a penny and wanted a refund. Which she did because I had paid and received nothing. At least she had some morals and a glimmer of customer service.
I said I also want the woman who accused me of stealing food ie taking my pick up order and coming back for a second time, or not paying at all to come out and apologize. She came out and was as nasty as it gets and said If I was wrong the heavens will judge me. I said if that's how you want to handle your business I would be ashamed and embarrassed. She was clearly in the wrong and was confronted and still couldn't say she was sorry.
Have you ever heard of a business accusing their paying customer of this??
What a disgrace.
And they lost 2 customers that night because the woman behind me also left because of terrible service. The front end cashier had the $20 in her hand and the woman behind me was disgusted for another reason and grabbed her...
Read moreThis restaurant is disgusting! 01/30/2022 - 720pm, I came to pick up my to-go order. Half an hour later, the cashier informed me someone else mistakenly took my food. I asked my food to be remade, she started to go through the last 10 paper orders on the counter and kept repeating “They just took your order and left”. Then I said they could either remake the order or refund, I gotta go. She went to the kitchen to have it remade. 15 minutes after, another lady picked up a phone call, I heard she said “Got the wrong order? OK, come back”. Then she went to the kitchen and yelled: “Stop making the re-do, the other people are coming back”. I thought to myself “Are they doing what I think they’re doing?” She came out and told me that the people who took my order were coming back and I would just take the food from them. I refused. She asked “Why?” I could not believe she asked me why. I said I cannot take food other people brought home then return. She: “The food is still in the bag, nobody touched it”. Me: “How do you think they found out it’s the wrong food?” She was angry but had to tell the kitchen to restart. Few minutes later, this lady came to tell the cashier: “He acted like people poisoned his food”. I was sitting 6 feet across from them. She pointed at me, both looked at me while I was staring back. To make a long story short, the older woman called me a liar, looked at other customers next to me and said, "I asked her and she said no." Then continued on about it with customers and her daughter (I believe) who brought my order out. I just responded, "I did say yes and I'm going to leave it at that." I didn't feel that it was worth it for me to escalate it any more than what she had done herself. She charged me more money to correct the order, the older lady said since it was under $5 I couldn't use my card. I told her that's all I have, that I didn't have cash so she mentioned that she would do it this time and threw my card and receipt at me after.
She seems angry and too prideful to admit that she forgot or didn't hear. She was just so focused on being right. Either way, if you are in customer service please be kind. Everyone is going thru something. There's no reason to be so rude, disrespectful or point fingers when you are WRONG or right. I will not go back to spend my money if she's working there!
