When we walk into the restaurant it was very clean we just so happened to walk in on a date when it was not busy at least not inside, but the drive-through was really draggin. The drive-through seemed to take a lot longer than normal we sat in the drive-through for about 15 minutes before the patron before us received their order. I feel like they had to kill the cow there and cook it fresh. However, that's not a demeaning comment, consumers would prefer fresh, hot food right? When we're finally able to clear the drive thru, we walk inside the restaurant, it's very clean and very empty we are greeted and our order was taken. This time they actually did not mess it up! We got all our food actually very timely- quicker than the people in the drive-through. They brought it out to us and brought us our condiments. I did notice on all the tables that all the ketchups did need refilling so I was happy we were not dine in or I would have been disappointed. We were sent off with a friendly good bye upon leaving. When we got to our destination the food and crunchy fries were still warm and crunchy as promised! The burgers that we ordered this time, during this visit were very good and we were very satisfied with the customer service, the cleanliness of the of the building and the promptness in preparing the food, and how it was prepared correctly. For tourist destinations this would be a restaurant that I would recommend going to. I do not recommend patronizing the Farmer Boys that is located on Stephanie and Wigwam because they mess up our order every time. We've gone 5 different times to that location in hopes they've improved, to no avail, so we do travel the extra 5 to 10 miles out to this further location in the Mccarran airport shopping marketplace for Farmer Boys because this is the best Farmer Boys here...
Read moreI will start with what I love. The food was amazing, service was friendly and they got my order right. My chicken sandwich was fresh, juicy, and tasty without being overly seasoned (I'm looking at you traditionally salty fast food). The zucchini I ordered was amazing. It reminded me of one of the local burger spots where I grew up. It comes in large spears that are what I would guess are quarter's of a a whole zucchini except there's about 6-8 * disclaimer- I did not officially count as I devoured them quickly but there were definitely more than four. My daughter ordered a chicken wrap which was the biggest wrap I've ever seen in my life (think the size of Chipotle burritos when Chipotle first popped up). She also said it was delicious and the best she's had. All of that being said, it was $66 + change for food for three and while I can not argue the portions were massive, I am not a huge consumer of fast food and their prices are just too high for these humble pockets. Now if someone invited me to dinner and we're offering to pay, I might counter with picking up food from Farmer Boys and finding a nice spot to picnic with our spoils. However, for me myself and I, I can't justify the cost for the odd stop before heading home when traveling or for dinner on one of those nights where I just don't have the energy to cook because I also do not have the funds to spend two weeks worth of grocery funds on one night of dinner for me and my four kids. However if you have deep pockets, or they are at least deeper than mine, or maybe you are just willing to sacrifice in other areas to eat out more often I would definitely recommend this place. The wait was a bit long, so prepare for that, but again everything was hot, fresh, and tasty...
Read moreIt was disappointing to be honest. I wanted a good lunch place with my boyfriend and Mom. I decided to try Farmer Boys since we had never gone before. When we get there, we see an order counter with a wall menu. I decided on a turkey melt, and was advised that the almost $11 price does NOT include any fries or sides. I ordered the combo for my sandwich, bringing it to $16.99 and ordered my mother's sandwich BLT at the same $10.29 price. My boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich. We paid $30 and waited for our food. When the food came out we were told that my boyfriend's order was never put in the system and wanted another $11. We were already upset at the ridiculous restaurant prices for a fast food place, he just decided to share my food instead. The fries were ok and the turkey melt had barely 2 slices and the grilled bread was greasy. This was NOT restaurant quality food. Farmer Boys also advertise their prices with a teaser price for their burger at $5.99. Don't be fooled by Farmer Boys, they are a fast food food with restaurant prices and dining area. Instead of complaining to the manager, we just decided this is a lesson learned and will never set foot in this place again. BTW I grew up in the restaurant business so if you want a lunch restaurant, do not go here, it is a waste of money. Chick Fil A or Jason's Deli is a much better option for fast quality food. Plus Jason's gives you...
