They have solid offering of the Gwen and Mead Marian, but I really like the Dragons Breath for a little spice and Tart Gwen because it uses Michigan Tart Cherry's. The owner Ken is around often to talk about the latest experiments or just chat. He let me know they source their honey from the region and put Hyattsville honey in each batch. I had never had mead and Katie was great in terms of helping me figure out what I liked (the Maid's Fire which was a blend and so good I bought some for home). Read moreA really cute little meadery. They had some of the best tasting meads I've ever had. Highly recommend the lava lamp. Perfectly sweet and perfectly warm. For those who like spicy things, they also have a delightfully spicy mead. The staff were also very kind, attentive, informed, and talkative. I will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
