Itâs a neat concept⌠BUT, really itâs all geared to just be a sports bar, and itâs great at that for that group of people. Basically our whole experience was waiting for ignorant, disrespectful, over-served groups of 6 and 9 college students to âsort of playâ each hole as they waited for more drinks. Managers donât really care about the pace of play because, weâll their getting those alcohol sales.
So, if itâs a drinking social spin on a sports bar for 21 year olds to hang⌠itâs awesome. Just donât spend the money to take your family here for an evening out on the courses.
COURSE REVIEW:
With the layout of the courses and Tiger Woods name on it I was hoping for something that required a bit more skill/strategy than ordinary putt putt. My 9yr shot under par on both courses and not because heâs some golf wiz. He was able to get 2 hole in 1âs his first time playing. So donât come expecting straight putts, just pick a line and usually youâll end up close enough to 2 putt.
BLACK Course = 70% Luck/30% Skill So, if you throw any sort of strategy out the window and just aim close to the hole and hit it hard enough to just hit the rough anywhere behind the hole, your chances of an easy 2 putt are almost guaranteed. Had a few hole in 1s using this method just because the holes are obviously graded towards the hole like a bowling ball on a trampoline. First time playing Black course I shot 18+19=37 (Par 45)
RED Course = 50% Luck/50% Skill This course has a lot more elevations to it, which makes it challenging if you donât have any sense of ball speed. Itâs much better with the ball not always grading towards the hold but it still does to much in my opinion. Same basic strategy will get you under par⌠just throw all strategy out the door and aim hard enough to just run up on the rough behind the hole. There is no real hazard in doing this, you avoid most traps and the fish bowl effect of the berms lay you up for a nice 2 put almost every time. 17 & 18 in my opinion should be how the whole course is laid out. They are what I hoped all of PopStroke would be like. It is not.
I donât have a full score on this course because both times we played we had to skip at least 2 holes due to large drunk groups taking 5 mins on each hole.
CONCLUSION
That said, itâs not challenging enough for the price. Iâd rather play Disneyâs Fairways course which is the same thing but cheaper and probably has a better overall layout. Take the prices down and I may give it 4 stars⌠honestly, just charge me $10/hr club rental fee and it may solve the slow game play from drunk people while making it more practical for families that just want to spend an hour on the courses.

Read moreIâm reviewing this spot strictly as a dining customerânot a golfer. Iâve played putt-putt here once, and while itâs a fun setup, itâs just not really my thing. So Iâll defer to others for that side of things.
A little about me for context: Iâm a local in my late 30s, married, with one son who is autistic. Dining out as a family can be really hardâweâre always weighing whether a place will be understanding, whether our son will be able to move around, and honestly, whether weâll just feel like a burden to others. So I love that this place has an attached playground. That feature alone takes so much pressure off. My son gets the freedom to be himself, and we get a rare chance to enjoy a meal without constantly being on edge. Itâs hard to overstate how much that matters for families like ours.
When the restaurant first opened, the food was genuinely greatâfresh, flavorful, and served in a more traditional, sit-down style with servers coming to your table. It felt like a true local gem. Lately, though, theyâve switched to an all-app ordering system. I get why this works for the golfing crowd or folks playing mini-golf who want to grab food and keep moving, but for dinersâespecially familiesâitâs a downgrade. It can feel a little impersonal, and it also makes it harder to ask questions, make adjustments, or just connect with a human. Service is still friendly when you do interact with someone, but the vibe has definitely changed.
I do want to mention one concern Iâve had on multiple visits: for some reason, the restaurantâs route to empty trash bins goes straight through the street-side entrance/exit to the playground, which is often left open and insecure for the staff member to return through the same gate with his empty trash bin.
It probably seems like a minor problem but as parent of a child who has a history of eloping (running off suddenly), that makes me incredibly nervousânot just for my son, but for any child playing nearby. Itâs something I now keep an eye on constantly, and I hope itâs addressed because it feels like an accident waiting to happen.
That said, the menu still has solid options and generous portions, and I do still recommend the restaurantâespecially to other parents who are looking for a spot where their kids can be themselves. The playground, the casual setup, and the general atmosphere make it more inclusive than most dining options in the area. I just hope a few tweaks could bring it back to being the gem...
