This was recommended to us by family members and we were thoroughly disappointed. First the good, the atmosphere is great, so many vintage and nostalgic items to look at, it was great. The server was good, fast and friendly. The biscuits we were served were absolutely fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, each plate that had breakfast potatoes also came with potatoes on top that were burned to a crisp, I just don't get it. Tuck it under or how about not serving that at all, why would you put that on a plate? The egg omelets were greasy and browned in tone although I did appreciate the fresh spinach in mine, the pancake was just ok as was the sausage and some sort of pre-cooked bacon product, whats with this over easy egg? Was this made on the moon, hence the craters? Your using too much oil guys, trust me. I know it's just a diner but come on guys, don't serve this....see pictures

The feeling of feasting in a museum is reason enough to check it out, but it's the terrific food and service that will keep you coming back. Their past-in-present atmosphere is accomplished by the surrounding 50s memorabilia and tabletop jukeboxes, creating a truly immersive dining experience. Our entrées were the bee's knees and came out in no time! My wife declared her Pancakes to be some of the best she's ever had, while my "Southern Hospitality BBQ" Burger was cooked to a medium-well perfection and the sauce provided had an amazing flavor. However, the real hospitality came from our waitress. Impressively accommodating to the point where even though Cherry Coke wasn't on the menu, she generously volunteered to prepare some for me. And it was delicious!

Another one of my "dinner out" moments with my young fellas. It was very wholesome and cold. So if you're cold natured like me, I suggest you bring a sweater even during the summer because its fridge on the right side of the diner. I say the right because the waitress told us the other side meaning the left was a little warmer. At that point I chose to go outside and they were more than accommodating. The waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. Our food served it's purpose but it didn't have a wow factor. It's clear that they were hit by the pandemic as millions of others and are striving to do their best. They did have a poster board outside hiring for every position available excluding management.

If there is anywhere you shouldn't go it would be this establishment. First and foremost, the manager who is male and looks like he literally rolled out the bed and came to work is not only unprofessional, rude, lacks good customer service skills as well as problem solving skills, but when in his feelings will yell in the middle of a crowded restaurant.

Please keep in mind I had my 9 year old son with me. Today we went in and was informed there would be a wait. No problem. The hostess took our name and number and informed us she would text when our table was ready. Needless to say that didn't happen and when I contacted to check on the table 30 minutes later as we went out to sit in the car due to the crowd the hostess preceeded to lie and one thing I can't stand is a liar. She stated she never got our number. My question, was if you didn't please explain the text that was sent that stated we had a 15 minute wait. The hostess as well as another wanted to argue. When asked for the manager he comes out with this awkward expression. As I explained he states there may have been a glitch in which I am ok with as I know that happens. What I told him I wasn't ok with was the arguing this little girl continued to do which lacked customer service skills. He proceeds to tell me that he is happy with her and will look into it. Lol...complete sarcasm which in turn I get it but don't tolerate. The manager is a piece of work so why shouldn't the employees be as well?! When I informed the other young lady who was going to seat us let's go as he doesn't possess good customer service skills either he YELLS if you're not happy you don't have to eat here!!! LOL!!! Clearly he doesn't know who I am. You're absolutely right! At the end of the day we could of paid for everyone's meals plus more! Bad customer service will have your establishment empty and you sir definitely unemployed!!! If you know like I know dine somewhere else where your money is appreciated because obviously he's upset and in his feelings. We're off to a more respectable location that appreciates their customers. BTW, his sorry was just that... sorry!!! Keep that!!! Also, if you sir were the owner, Michael Fleck, I would suggest hiring someone for customer service training because you sir are not man yelling at a woman with her child due to being in your feelings. If my employees are wrong they are wrong and I'm going to stand by my customers. Thank my son as he was the one that had enough sense not to want to dine at your establishment due to your lack of customer service. Train a child up young...obviously this wasn't the...

My family and have given this place ample opportunity with their food and I'm sorry to say they failed all three times and here's why.

The first visit, hailing from Detroit I was excited to see a Coney dog on the menu. Maybe high expectations? I don't know. They served a hot dog with Texas style chili which was more soupy than what should be a chili sauce. As you could imagine the bun was soaked through the majority meal. The second visit I ordered, if I remember correctly an omelet over hash browns. I had to send the meal back three times (which I never do because I know how hard people in the kitchen work) because the hash browns WERE RAW! The third time I sent it back the manager brought the plate back to asking what was wrong with the meal? I invited her to try the potatoes to which she never did. I told her the potatoes are raw. She advised me that in the future that I need to ask for the potatoes "to be cooked extras crispy". And she stomped off. I was shocked to hear a manager of a DINER that serves breakfast all day tell a customer that they are to ask that the meal be properly cooked before ordering it! Hash BROWNS are to be served crispy. Last night we gave RCD one final try. My son wanted Mr. Chips for his 13th birthday so we took him to RCD. They brought out the Mr. Chips and it was obvious that instead of the large pancake they now serve two much smaller pancakes (not a huge deal). I ordered the cheese steak. It was actually ok until I saw the green peppers and onions. They were not cooked what so ever. No complaints this time because we knew what were getting into. However, we will never come back until they change the management. I really think that is the glaring issue for a restaurant that when we first moved here three years ago the food was amazing! This location has seriously gone...

Service a good - it was slow - and food was REALLY good. Honestly great recipes and homemade-style! Def going back for a breakfast review.

P.S - I even applied for a cook position here. It’s going to be greater still! 🫠

after working here for several months, I realized that the show they put on was far greater than the input. There were tons of thousands of cockroaches infesting the walls, and it would be a daily experience to find a cockroach on the counter, eating the same food as the customers. and in my mind, it would be far more impossible to constantly keep up with the cockroaches, cleaning wise without of them and their existence within the perimeter. I would never recommend anybody go here because the owner is adamant that the cockroaches are only slightly an issue to the health and safety of customers which may or may not be true. But the worst part is that the guy who works the prep station preparing all the food for the rest of the restaurant is the reason that the cockroaches exist in the first place he’s messy and disgusting callous, and does not like deep cleaning even in lease bit and likes to throw a temper tantrum even though he’s 70 years old so he makes a massive food all over the floor and doesn’t clean up underneath the And refrigerators and around the refrigerator door seal, which is where most of the...
