If only there were an option for zero stars. I've never left a negative review before, but I've also never felt it so necessary to warn people away from an establishment. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was quite honestly the worst dining experience I've ever had. Upon first entering, the first thing that stood out was the uncleanliness, the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned within the last month.

Firstly, the food was inedible bordering on rancid. The chicken and vegetable stir fry's taste (bland) and consistency was as though it had been sitting in a pot for hours or literally someones left over food from the previous night (yes, it was that bad). The potstickers looked and tasted like they had been microwaved after previous freezer burn and also had a rancid taste. Then, the sticky rice (and ironically the thing that took the longest to come out) was served to us in a literal plastic bag and was also stale, dry, and molded together in a ball that was nearly impossible to separate, making it feel more like an afterthought than a side dish meant to complement the meal.

I generally avoid complaining in restaurants unless absolutely necessary, but this situation left me with practically no choice. The server (who I later learned is the manger) was rude and condescending, going so far as to tell me that the problem was with my palate rather than the food. To make matters worse, he looked unkempt with bed head like he hadn’t showered, and showed no interest in addressing our concerns.

When I asked for a refund (since we barely touched any of the food), he flat-out refused, dismissing my request without so much as an apology. He also refused to offer even a partial discount or provide any way to contact the owner, leaving us completely stuck and without resolution.

This was not just bad service; it was actively hostile. On top of all of this, the food was ridiculously expensive. I cannot stress enough how disappointing and frustrating this experience was. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place...

food great and have eaten there several times and spent money there as a local. Today I have been home with a terrible flu and asked my Boyfriend to stop and pick me up some soup. He was denied just after he watched someone else pick up their to-go order. The gal working told him they are not doing to-go orders anymore for the evening. He mentioned to her that I was home sick, and wanted to order, she said No. This all happened before 6:00pm. He said it was busy but nothing out of the norm. He said she not only said no, but was extremely rude in saying so. With that said, I can't help but think about all the times I went there. I even brought my parents when they were in town. I have brought several people there. I have spent loads of money too. I have even sat at the bar there for lunch and had a nice conversation with that very same waitress. All I can say is, take care of the locals as we are the ones who spend money there when the...

Was visiting North Lake Tahoe and decided to go with this restaurant since it was close to where we were staying and we LOVE thai food. I should've read the negative reviews because this IS the blandest Thai food we have ever ate. Absolutely no flavor. We ordered Tom Yum soup (way too sour), cashew nut chicken (watery, bland, chicken looked boiled), drunken noodles (noodles tasted undercooked, no flavor). They only do take-out and I think I understand why. If anyone sat here to dine in I can't imagine anyone would willingly pay for this. They weren't busy at all when we got there. This place seems like it's been in business because it just happens to be in Lake Tahoe. You put this restaurant if any place that isn't a tourist attraction and I guarantee you it would 100% fail. I'm actually offended this place is calling itself a Thai restaurant. I think I could make better Thai food at home just by watching YouTube videos. Yes it...

The place looks very tired and sad looking. The guy who took our order was rude and mumbling. He was impatient while we were browsing their menu even though they're was nobody but us in this place. We asked to get bowls for our soup but he only wanted to give us 2 small plastic cups with plastic teaspoon. Also we ordered fried spring rolls and got fresh spring rolls. They probably didn't feel like making some. The Tom kha was ok but too watery. The panang curry was tasteless. I'm not talking of spiciness level, just no taste. Blaah I can understand that it may be difficult to hire help but then, first if you cannot provide dine in option then say so. And second then at least try to be nice with your customers who spend good money (yes, on top of that it is expensive) supporting your business.

Summary: Very bad service AND food. Flies are not uncommon in the restaurant. Choose somewhere else in Tahoe City, literally, anywhere else. Food: The beef was super dry and stiff, impossible to chew on. Found a steel ball’s residue in the soup (see in picture). The beef was not fresh at all. Service: after telling the service guy that the beef was dry and hard to chew on, he immediately said “it is supposed to be like this”, no investigation, no apologies, no replacement or anything; after telling another server that the hazard steel ball residue was found in the soup, no apologies, simply asked if we still want it or just cancel this dish. No “sorry” came from her mouth. Environment: we saw a big wasp at the table, and several flies around.

I think the rating is actually about right. I was there for lunch on February 8th. I got one dish--Pad Bai Ka Pow (sweet basil) with chicken, and it was lacking flavor. I asked for 7/10 for spiciness, but it was still fairly mild. That being said, it was healthy--didn't taste overly oily nor was there a ton of sugar, so that's definitely a positive. There was plenty of ground chicken breast (I asked for ground chicken and they were very kind to oblige), zucchini, carrots, and onions. But I definitely didn't get much basil flavor. They were flexible in accommodating my ask for ground chicken and looked after me (I was the only diner in the restaurant). It was a pleasant experience, but the food was a bit disappointing.
