Ah, let me regale you with the tale of the most exquisite slice to grace the shores of Tahoe City, courtesy of none other than the cool dude himself, Conner! Picture this: a culinary journey like no other, where the service was as impeccable as the mountain vistas. "Dealers choice," I declared with a twinkle in my eye, and oh, did Conner, the pizza maestro, deliver! Behold, the Sweet Pig: adorned with bacon, pepperoni, and a drizzle of honey, it danced upon my palate with a symphony of flavors! 🍕✨ Tart yet savory, each bite a masterpiece in its own right. My dear companions, I implore you, venture forth and partake in this gastronomic delight!

🍕✨ A New Chapter at Mountain Slice – Tahoe City’s Pizza Gem Expands! ✨🍕

Three years ago, I shared tales of the legendary “Sweet Pig” slice, a delightful creation by the ever-cool Conner. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that Mountain Slice Pizzeria and Creamery has unveiled a brand-new wing, bringing even more of their mouthwatering offerings to Tahoe City!

At the heart of this expansion is the dynamic owner, Adam, whose unwavering passion for authentic pizza has been the driving force behind Mountain Slice’s success. His commitment to quality and community shines through in every slice, making this pizzeria a beloved local treasure.

The new wing isn’t just about more space; it’s a testament to Mountain Slice’s dedication to delivering exceptional pizza experiences. With their signature New York and Detroit-style pizzas, crafted from scratch daily, and a selection of locally sourced ice creams, craft beers, and wines, there’s something to delight every palate.

So, if you find yourself in Tahoe City, make sure to stop by the expanded Mountain Slice. Experience the warmth, the flavors, and the community spirit that Adam and his team have cultivated. Here’s to continued success and many more delicious slices! 🍕🎉

My wife and I had dinner here. Alex, the owner, was setting up shop all by himself and though the doors opened a few minutes past opening time (4pm on Monday), Alex greeted us, made sure to clean tables, and started taking our orders right away. It was a lot for one person to do all this. Including my wife and I, there were around 3 other parties and numerous phone orders that Alex was handling very well.

My wife and I shared one Burrata slice that originally Alex thought he had run out of ingredients for, but once he saw some extra, he remembered us and made it for us right away. We also originally ordered a Detroit style, meat lovers pizza. But Alex suggested we get a specialty pizza Detroit style so we went with the Tye Dye. We really appreciated his suggestion to change the pizza flavor cause it was really delicious.

We also saw Alex being very attentive and courteous to other customers. He would notify customers of when their pizza was put in the oven, how much time it approximately took for it to be done, and was constantly aware of anything his customers might need. He did this all by himself for almost an hour until one of his employees showed up to help.

Last but certainly not least, the pizza was absolutely delicious, made fresh to order and worth the wait! We also recommend getting the Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet. It’s a great way to finish a meal with something tangy and refreshing. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Thank you Alex and Mountain Slice, you guys are...

Get the sweet pig 🤤 trust me, you will not be disappointed. The owner and his staff are super chill, nice, & friendly and provide the occasional much needed laughter

I don't know what these bad reviews on here talking about, but the prices are on point! I have never felt like I overpaid on these pizzas, because the quality of the ingredients justified it for me.

Maybe some of these people reviewing should make a sandwich and call it a day if that's how cheap they want to be because, $29 for a 20" pizza plus tax ain't bad at all you'll definitely have leftovers and it won't be bad later when you try to eat it cold because let's be real, you'll want to heat it up in the microwave, but when pizza has fresh ingredients like what they roll out everyday here, it's pretty tough to wait on the microwave when you know it'll taste just as delicious as it was when it was hot.

Front Street station Pizza definitely can't say that. Nor can the other Pizza establishments surrounding the Tahoe City area. I'm sorry, this is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way but za's ain't it 🤷‍♂️🙅‍♂️ ... If you want to feel like you got the bang for your buck, and something delicious worthy of your money, don't go anywhere else, make the smart choice and take yourself here. You won't be disappointed...

Unless you're a cheapskate, Then in that case no one can help you, or meet your needs. I said what I said. And I stand by everyone else who agrees, including the owner when I say this is THE BEST pizza spot in...
