Minglewood - Coffee & Company — Restaurant in Tahoe City

Pretty disappointing service. I ordered a matcha latte but was served something else. Thankfully, they agreed to remake it.

After I placed my food order, the female server asked me to wait outside because of my dog — a small, well-behaved one. This is the first time I’ve encountered such treatment, and it felt unnecessarily rude to say that to a customer.

Overall, the service was underwhelming. Cute café vibes, though.

Oh, so now my dog is a problem? Funny how nobody mentioned that when you happily took my money. If pets are such a health hazard, maybe post a sign or—I don’t know—say something before I order?

Also, I asked for a matcha latte, not “whatever’s close enough.” If it’s not on the menu, a simple heads-up before you charge me would’ve been great. Swapping it out without telling me isn’t fair for your customer as well.

Minglewood is exactly the coffee shop Tahoe City has been needing. From the second I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and sat down right away. The iced latte I ordered was outstanding—you can really taste the difference with their beans, which they roast from a Seattle supplier. I also love that you can grab a bag of beans to take home.

I had the trout salad and it was super fresh, flavorful, and a generous portion. Between the friendly service, amazing coffee, and great food, this place instantly became a new favorite. Tahoe City really needed a spot like this, and I’m glad it’s...

This placed is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager of the establishment was completely rude and unwelcoming. I was here working and I needed to use an outlet and moved over to a table that she was apparently sitting at, and rudely she told me to move to another area. Really?

This is supposed to be a nice coffee shop where you can work and feel like you can enjoy the space. The coffee was alright, but the açai bowl literally had whipped cream and nasty granola in it and it was horrible. Go elsewhere for the money with an establishment that knows how to...
