This place used to treat people like family. You didn’t just come here for the coffee, their friendliness used to give you just as much of a supercharge to your day as your coffee. They used to write messages saying to have a great day, or other uplifting words to just make your day. They would ask you questions and actually remember your name and things about you.
Cowgirls coffee off of 176th and Better Days off of 121st both have better drinks, but I came here for how they treated people.
They’ve gone through a lot of staff changes but treating people like family still seems to be a priority.
One of the owners Mark used to be really nice, but recently he’s not been very nice, he’s been grumpy and rude. There was a picture of a drink on their wall that had whip topping on it, but each time I ordered it it didn’t come with it, so when I pulled up I ordered the drink, said I wanted whip topping on it when I ordered it. They handed it to me and I said oh, I really wanted whip topping on it just like it’s pictured. The guy who made my drink said oh yeah sure I’ll fix it. Mark starting grumbling and said no it doesn’t, so the guy who made my drink leaned out the window looked and said yup you’re right it does have whip topping on it, and apologized for Marks comments, he definitely showed sympathy for how Mark was behaving. For years I’ve supported this place and spoke highly of them, even though there are better drinks around them, definitely not so much now. Also, after all of these years you’d think that they would come up with a solution to all of the bees/wasps...
Read moreMy family and I seriously love this place... we are only able to go out for coffee about once a week, the customer service is hands down the reason we choose to come here for our once a week coffee splurge... As a former barista at starbucks I have to say the coffee and beverages are 1,000 times better then anything you can order from Starbucks... we have tried numerous specialty coffee drinks, everything has really great flavor, most the time without being crazy sweet or bitter.... I only go out for coffee to places that have better drinks then I can make with my espresso machine at home... every person that has answered the drive thru window has been great and goes above and beyond.... my 5 year old niece ordered a simple steamed milk.... after asking my sisters permission... he put white chocolate raspberry whipped cream on top with a Lil dollop on the lid... before serving to my niece he dashed the top with sprinkles from a Magic Wand!!!! I don't know about you but I call that a magical experience for a 5 year old girl on a boring grocery shopping trip!!!! Anyway definitely try this place everything from the lemon poppyseed frappe', blended americano with cream and caramel to the amazing iced alpine mocha with white coffee and shortbread, huckleberry flavor I had today has...
Read moreSome people like to go to independent coffee stands because they're not the corporate 'Stars' and they can support local folks. Some go because they have incredibly friendly folks who really get to know their customers. Some go because they get excellent coffee, roasted in small batches with an eye toward quality. Finally, there are those who like hand-crafted extras and a personal touch.
Did you know there is a place where you can get all of that? Yup - Wolfe Club - that unassuming call back to yesteryear with photos of actual employees adorning their windows that sits in the shadow of, but never overshadowed by 'The Corporation' next door.
Everything's great - so get out of your comfort zone (read "Bucks Rut") and work your way down the menu - you may find yourself hard-pressed to pick just one fav off their amazing menu!
Reviews deserve a refresh from time to time - in this case, I have to say they've gotten even better.
I finally got to try their Prayer's energy drinks and - wow. Very nice.
Great folks. Great drinks. Great music. No wonder folks would rather line up at this two-window drive-thru, patiently waiting for their favorite treats than get a quick-fix from...
