I have been going to starbucks for years sometimes twice a day because of the customer service because of the people making my coffee the literal only thing I avidly buy myself. I just moved to parkland this starbucks is mind blowingly horrible. I can not believe it is a starbucks the workers I have encountered that work the afternoon( not the morning) complain are overwhelmed in underwhelming situations they are short and rude to my mother and today we went to get our coffee it was probably 230 pm the girl working the window was so rude to my mother and cut her off and said wait I'm taking an order when we were at the window to pay. So I go in because my mother is horrified and ask for a manager and this apparent "manager" comes over right away with an attitude telling me to calm down when I was calm..at first then the manager and the girl at the window who had a customer start yelling back and forth about I'm not going to talk to them like this and "get out we won't miss you" we're the exact words from the girl at the window who can't multi task yelled as I left with the manager and her ganging up on me a loyal customer. This would NEVER happen at any starbucks I've been too. Both those females were unprofessional and engaged in a literal screaming match with me! Just because your a billion dollar company to treat a customer like f u we don't need your business is shocking and disgusting I was and...
Read moreThis is a difficult review to write because of the good being combined with the very off-putting.
First, the good.
If you're a fan of Starbucks, this location has fast and friendly service. The food and coffee is the same as every other location, but the staff do seem to be happy to see people, particularly regulars.
So the bad:
A recent renovation had me excited. The one thing I liked was that folks could gather here, have coffee and catch up on friend's lives.
But once they reopened, I was surprised and very disappointed. There is a single open area to stand in while ordering your drinks and food - no chairs, no bathroom, no gathering space.
There is a door with a code lock that looks for all the world like a bathroom - but it's not. I've seen people dancing around really need a restroom, only to learn there is none.
The staff are friendly enough, but I"m sure they're taking some heat for the redesign.
They even eliminated the outdoor tables - leading to people sitting on the curb in the parking lot, in the sun or rain.
What used to be a gathering place has now become a 'get your coffee and leave' establishment.
So - if you're grabbing coffee in the drive-thru or picking up a mobile order and jetting - all's good. But if you have any expectations of a leisurely weekend morning sipping coffee with friends, you'll have to find...
Read moreThese employees are the best. I have been feeling under the weather for quite a while now. I made my way through a few times this week for a “medicine ball”. I know they are called in Earl Gray, honey citrus, mint tea, But when you only order them a couple times a year, it’s really hard to remember all of that. - I tell I want a medicine Ball and they don’t correct me they don’t repeat the technical name back to me. They don’t make me feel bad for ordering a medicine ball. They Even tell me to get better soon when I leave. - Other Starbucks in the area seem to have a really bad attitude towards you if you order a medicine ball and not the drink by its technical term. Just wanted to say, I appreciate them, not sending through the wringer and They let me just order it the way I want to order it without a hassle. Thank you! It’s much...
