I will not be trashing the employees at this facility, because employees typically only do as well as the policies and procedures of management allow. We scheduled an appt to have our male cat neutered. Their advertised price is $35. It cost $165, and that was after refusing all of the "extras" they tried to press upon us and guilt us into. This is a much-loved kitten, so we were nervous and had a lot of questions. The conflicting answers we got led to more phone calls for clarification, resulting in 4 phone calls to the facility prior to the actual appt. Each time we got an answer it was different from the one we got previously. Some examples: "take up his food at 5pm," "no food after 9pm," "don't let him eat later than 6pm," "yes, I've confirmed your appt for Thurs the 23rd at 8:45am," "you won't be able to pick him up until 4pm." When we arrived on Thurs the 23rd we were told his appt was actually Friday the 24th! When we arrived at 9am on Fri the 24th we were told that his surgery wasn't actually until 12pm, meaning he would be sitting in a cage surrounded by strange animals and humans for 3 hrs, not having eaten for over 12 hrs already. Further, we were told that he would definitely be ready for pickup well before 3pm. When we called at 1pm, we were told that the surgery doors were closed, the doctor was back there, they aren't allowed to enter, and he wouldn't be coming out until 3pm. He is now 2 days postop and seems to be progressing, so my assumption is that the veterinarian who did the surgery...
Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars I would, there is one thing and one thing only they are good at and that’s cheap shots for your pets, I had a mini English bulldog puppy showing signs of parvo I brought him to them crying begging please don’t let my puppy die, the tech came in I explained in detail what was happening, he put nothing in the notes about what I said other then he was not eating and having diarrhea, the vet came in no test no nothing gave him his vaccine and some meds and told me nope he doesn’t have it and sent me on my way, I ended up having to take him the next night to the evc, spending almost a thousand dollars there and sure enough he had parvo, when I went back to tell them they did not do their job the vet looked at me and said well it was the techs fault for not taking the proper notes, how about your the vet it’s your job to know what the symptoms of parvo are, needless to say they told me it would be another thousand dollars and no guarantee he would make it, and the vets comments were my bad when I lost it on them for not doing their job in the first place. The puppy died two days later and they call me and tell me I have to pay them money when they were the reason he died to begin with. Needless to say unless your just getting shots for your animal don’t take them to...
Read moreWent to their website hsna.org and called this exact location. The same number listed here on google is listed on website. The phone takes you to some 408 pet hospital instead. They say they are at the same location as the Humane Society, but have different pricing than what's listed on the Humane Society website. I ask to talk to the humane society. They give me a phone number for Pet Alliance (I called, and no, they are not affiliated with the Humane Society). So, I called the 407-482-1955 number back to let them know the phone they gave me was incorrect and how do I get in touch with the humane society? Girl kept repeating herself saying 'we do surgeries for the humane society' as if that answers how do I talk to them and schedule a surgery with their pricing? Kept giving me Pet Alliance phone number. Don't even both trying to get in touch with these people. Waste of time. And the 408 clinic was RUDE. I would never trust my pets anywhere associated with...
