CW's Wings and Ribs — Restaurant in Conway

I would give this place no stars if I could. I am a professional server/bartender of 20+ years. The experience we had here was the worst I've ever had in my life. We had the wings and fries. Their acclaimed award winning garlic parmesan wings were the worst I've ever tasted. The sauce was runny and tasted of vinegar more than garlic. There was absolutely no parmesan flavor or cheese on the wings whatsoever. Pizza Hut has better wings and I hate Pizza Hut. Our bartender had about 6 customers including us at the counter. It took 15 minutes to be served a drink. Then another 20 before we ever got refills. Another 10 before we got to order food. New people were leaving from the bar after waiting 20 minutes to be served. They asked an employee who was just standing at the end of the bar talking to someone if he could get them a beer for now. He told them "Well she's just busy right now, give her a minute and she can help you." Then he turned his back and kept talking. Several other employees came out and passed these guys by and they asked for service with no luck. They finally got up and left. When we placed our order, we wanted to get loaded fries. Our server told us those took too long and the kitchen was backed up. We saw several orders of them go out and many people picking up takeout telling the server ringing them in that the orders they placed included the loaded fries. We ordered our food about 10 minutes ahead of another couple. One server came out with food and tried to give it to us. It was the other couples order who came in after us. About 5 minutes later, our server brought out our wings and apologized saying she got the order mixed up. We stated we also had an order of fries. She said "Oh they aren't ready yet and I didn't want your wings to get cold". She didn't refill our drinks and walked away. We finished our entire order of wings. Still no fries or drinks. We tried to ask another server about our food and if looks could kill. We watched our server take food to tables on the floor twice for another server. Both times there were fries on the tray yet we still had not received ours. Then I finally flagged down our server and asked her about our fries again. She said "Oh right". She left our dirty stacked dishes right in front of us on her way back to the kitchen. She came back out with a basket of fries that seemed to be sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. They were warm but very dry. She brought us no ketchup. We went around to other dirty tables in the dining area and finally found our own bottle of ketchup. No one around the place, not even the other servers asked if they could help us as we were picking up ketchup bottles off of tables trying to find one with ketchup inside. I did notice the other server was taking mustard and ketchup to her tables as she dropped their food. It took us another half hour just to get our bill. Then we couldnt get her to cash us out. 10 minutes later, we just left the cash and walked out. We will NEVER return. Oh the only positive, my house liqour drink was cheaper than my friend's Miller Lite draft which really pissed him off. Who ever heard of liquor being cheaper than draft beer, especially Miller Lite. See Updates below: This place used to be a gem in Conway, but has since gone downhill. We just ordered 70 boneless wings for some friends we're having over, and every single wing is overcooked. To the point where they're hard and crunchy and take 5 minutes to chew down one wing. Will not be going back, it's sad when a chain is the better alternative to a local spot.

Edit: They offered to remake our order on another date so I will give them one more shot and update accordingly.

Update: They remade 50 wings for me even though I ordered 70. They weren't overcooked as badly this time but still weren't great. I'm afraid we'll have to go elsewhere for wings now. They also removed the loaded boats off the menu which were my fav.

Update: Ate there again and specifically asked for the wings to not be overcooked and they came out perfect. The food was delicious again!

Update 10/24: Asked again for the wings to not be overcooked but we received 4 boxes of chewy overcooked wings (think beef jerky chewy). Called and some dude at the restaurant said they looked fine to him?? Told him to eat one and watched him chew for 2 mins....

Carolina Wings has great food and lots of it.It has more or less a sports bar feel with lots of TV's but music playing over them all. It's one of the few places I know that still have a smoking area but the majority of the place is smoke free and family friendly. The staff is rather lackluster and not in a hurry at all so plan to spend some time. If you're a pool player there are 2 tables to play on while you wait. On the surface it appears very clean. HOWEVER, when my broken chair caused me to spill a large amount of Mr. Pibb all over my purse, myself, the seat next to me and the floor, I wound up cleaning up the entire mess myself with the roll of paper towels on every table. When it came to the floor the more I wiped, the more it needed wiped. ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!! I was not offered a refill or discount of any kind even though the waitress knew the chair was broken and was left to have my purse cleaned on my own. THE MAIN THING IS IF YOU BRING A CHILD WITH YOU THAT DROPS HIS/HER BINKY ON THE FLOOR BRING A SPARE CUZ YOU DO NOT WANT TO WANT...
