Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Conway

Terrible drive thru experience today August 2nd, 2025 right around 5:00pm. The lady that's been working the drive thru window is very hateful, unprofessional, and comes off as if she hates her job and anything you say or do annoys her. She is VERY combative. It's even more disheartening to see so many other reviews on here regarding her poor behavior. We had been there the week before and she was working the window then as well and we had a similar bad experience but we had grace and didn't say anything to management or address it. However, after today's experience this is truly unacceptable. The first visit she handed us our drinks with the lids not secure on the cups and it was dripping down the side of the cups. I asked for a napkin and she rolled her eyes, sighed very loudly and harshly waved the napkins in my face. She then handed us our food and closed the window without speaking at all. Now today, (8/2/25) at around 5:00pm, we had to pull up to the window to order because the speaker was down. Once we got to the window to order, she slid the window open and just looked at us without speaking. I said hello and began to order. Once I ordered one item and a drink, she just walked away from the window without acknowledging what I just said (I figured she went to make the drink or something) so I paused for her to come back to the window to finish ordering. When she came back to the window, she started yelling (I'm serious she was YELLING) at me, "Why did you stop talking, Why did you stop talking, are you done?" as she was saying this she was waving her hand in a snapping motion. I was so caught off guard.. and said excuse me? She then said, "why'd you stop talking, oh so you aren't done then why did you stop talking?" I then asked her why she had an attitude and why she was yelling and she proceeded to get even more hateful. I told her this was our second bad experience with her and she shouted, " I dont even know who you are", while rolling her eyes. I told her how we always have a good experience with the daytime crew and the friendly older man that is normally behind the counter and that I would be calling him to inform him of our numerous poor experiences. She got very defensive then and started screaming at the top of her lungs for her assistant manager to come to front. I told the manager that was there how confused we were with how this escalated over nothing, and how we normally have great experiences during the day but the lady thats been at the window the last few visits was very very hateful and intentionally combative. She apologized and I told them we would go somewhere else for dinner. This was one of the craziest experiences I have ever had at a drive thru window, and the escalation and yelling was very uncomfortable and not appreciated. That lady needs to find somewhere else to work, I hate to see businesses brought down by disgruntled employees. We love the daytime crew and our food is always fresh, they need to address this issue soon. Especially with all of the similar reviews...

I love this restaurant. We go here often. The same man, whose name I just cannot remember right now…Robert, maybe?..is usually working the front counter and drive-thru. He’s such a nice dude. Very pleasant and always multitasking. We are always are greeted by him or the other staff, and everyone is just so great here! The restaurant is a little aged, but I love it anyway! The staff obviously works very hard to keep it clean even though there is wear on the benches and tables, on the paint, etc. It’s got a nice nostalgia to it, and I don’t mind it being a little worn or dated. The food is phenomenal!!! PHENOMENAL, I say!!! The chicken is always crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The fish is crispy on the outside and nice and flaky inside. And those crispies?! Heaven! Always fresh! I literally crave the green beans. I also really love the cole slaw! It has just the right amount of mayo so that it’s not too dry or too runny. My husband loves their corn. LJS used to have the best corn on the cob, so moving to kernel corn seemed like a horrible change, but it’s actually still great just like the cob corn!! Yay! And, I realize this is fast food…fast SEAFOOD, at that, but I L O V E this Long John Silver’s! It is a gem, and I’m happy to drive from the other side of Greenbrier to this spot on Oak Street in Conway to indulge in the great service and outstanding food here! Keep up the spectacular work,...

This one of the most filthy restaurants I’ve ever been in. The bathrooms were disgusting and so were the floors in the lobby and dining area. But worse than that, the young lady who took my elderly husband’s order was extremely rude to him. This is the second time we’ve been in and had to deal with her hateful attitude. He had been standing there waiting to place his order and she told him he would have to wait. He said, no problem. But then more customers came up and she tried taking their orders before his. He told her NO, that wasn’t happening bc he had already been standing there patiently waiting. She eventually took his order but was very rude about it. There is NO EXCUSE for keeping an employee who treats customers so badly. Maybe clean your store and talk to your employee about her rude behavior.
