Hobby Lobby — Local services in Conway

Came in to purchase a TV Stand, no one was available to get it down (the lady and I could have took it down ourselves). Lady told me that the next day she would have someone to help get the TV Stand down. The next day came and I couldn't make it in so I called Hobby Lobby and told them I couldn't make it but I could come in the following day to pick it up (that was ok with the lady I spoke with). Came in to pick the TV Stand up and once again they wouldn't let me get it (I drove over 45min. one way for the 2nd time). There was two lady's not doing anything in the furniture section. Remind you that I am a fit young man that could have got this down by myself not to mention I had a friend that was in the vehicle that could've helped me. Seems like laziness too me. Very unhappy. Overall, it's a Hobby Lobby. The shelves are fully stocked. The store is clean and tidy. The staff, for the most part, is helpful. Umm, but I gave them a 4 star rating rather than 5 star. Why? When I go to the cutting table to get some fabric cut, I feel like I'm an inconvenience to them. When I am just handing them fabric and telling them how much I need. Listen, my expectations are not that we will become friends, but at least say hello or hi. The other reason is, being a male, and a larger size male, when I walk in the door I ALWAYS get profiled. The looks are like, 'why is he in here.' 'He doesn't belong in here.' I don't know if that is happening, but it is what I feel is happening. So that's my review. Do what you...

I asked two different employees for help finding an item, she stood awkwardly staring at me so long I said, ok ill keep looking myself. After 2 more laps around the store I asked another employee who first didn't know what I was talking about then quickly answered no and rushed off..... I stood there in shock.....I get it we are all busy and we all have things to do but isn't it their job to help customers?? I had a few things in my cart to purchase but I just pushed it to the side and left. I ended up at Michael's who didn't have what I needed either but they at least tried to find it AND were polite. I will not be returning to hobby lobby. Not in Arkansas...
