Drive to the next one. Don’t stay at this location. These guys don’t have pride in quality. I contacted the front desk 5 minutes after getting Into the room explaining what was up. Not helpful with options. I stay at a lot of hotels and this was a very bad experience. Best part, they still charged me full rate. Even when I followed their policy and informed them. Bad Customer Service. Corp, take note. Bast on the following reviews, the last 3 people had the same issue. I was to tired and missed reading them.
My buddy owns 7 comfort suites and I was annoyed enough I called him to See how his staff would have handled this same situation. He was very embarrassed for you guys. Not how Corp wants their name to be used. I’m writing this for this franchise owner and staff so you follow corporate standards.
Here is what happened. The lady at the desk in the morning explained to me she knew everything that happened and notes were taken. Oh, here is your full price bill. I checked in exhausted with my two young sleeping boys and got them into bed and as I went to use the restroom there was pee on the seat and by was dirty. Ok I’ve used plenty of Porta potties so I was going to blow it off. As in went to get into bed it was very obvious the bed was just remade with out changing sheets pillowcases etc so who ever slept in the bed before left their hair and smell. Poor kid at the front deck was clueless but brought sheets down to replace. I asked to be moved into a close room so I didn’t have to move my deaf son who gets super startled when being moved but dealt with it and moved him into the new room next door. Now it’s almost 2 and all I want to do is sleep. This is when I realize the window is broken and is open a 1/2”. I walked down to the front again and asked if they had a stick or something I could use to try and lock the window because I have no idea what this area is like let alone I did t even know what town I was in. I was exhausted and dealt with it but had a very bad sleep because our room backed up to the freeway and all I heard were the diesels driving by. In the light, lamp shades are stained and dated etc. etc. so drive to the next hotel. It...
Read moreThe property has pictures on the site as if they have completed their remodeling, yet they have not still alot of construction and noise going on, The construction workers ate all the breakfast up, from the customers. The MAIN RATING WAS DUE TO BEING PROFILED by front desk literally my husband and I had just woke up, he walked off the elevator to come get coffee ( mind you it's him and others getting coffee) and was approached by front desk questioning what was he doing here, why was he here and followed him around. Needless to say I was taken back when he came back to room and explained what happened. They did not do this to others that was coming and going. Had the nerve to say they had a incident last week what does that have to do with us that's your problem not me and my family and if it was a security issue due to the area or the people in the area then hire security... You do not make your customers feel unsafe and unwanted. Nonetheless my family packed our bags we will not stay be staying at a place, they obviously doesn't want us here. I went to the front desk asked to be checked out and she refused saying she couldn't. Ask for a Manager was told they are not available. I asked she call someone she then said she couldn't. She then comes with her cell phone said the manager would like to speak with me. They apologized, he said he spoke with her and that was not something she should have done and it will not happen again. Give him a hour to resolved my concerns, I don't have a hour we are packed and requesting to be checked out. You feel points and a free night stay for another time can just sweep this matter under the rug. Absolutely not. Then your front desk says because she doesn't know us excuse me do you know 1/2 of the folks that come through here Absolutely not and you have not approached anyone else nor followed them around the hotel. No one should have to encounter this type of treatment. And then refuse to refund me back for the nights we did not stay. Now I see why she refused to...
Read moreAs soon as I checked in and went to the room, I found trash in the trashcan and the ice bucket was full of water. Neither was a major issue but it made me question how good a job the cleaning crew is actually doing at this hotel. I informed the front desk and was told they had no other rooms that night. I got an apology and was told I'd get 10,000 points added to my account as a rewards member. No points are on my account still. After several days we discovered the indoor pool, (one of the main reasons we chose this hotel) was broken and closed for the remainder of our stay. The room was mediocre overall, nothing fancy here. The bathroom however had issues... the toilet handle sticks so it constantly runs if you don't push it all the way back up and the bathtub had a huge dip in the center and was stained across the bottom... all clear signs that an upgrade is needed. Every day trying to get in the side entrance and our room was a challenge as the card readers don't work well. The last day we saw a staff member changing the reader for the side entrance but it still didn't seem much better. Upon going to check out, there was a staff member clearly having a difficult moment with his head down on the front counter in plain view of all guests with another staff member standing nearby watching him. I felt uncomfortable with intruding so I wasn't able to inform them of these issues. I just put my card on the counter and gave my room number and left. The only positives about this hotel was the breakfast was good each morning and the morning staff was always friendly and helpful. Overall, the basics are there and most of the staff was friendly, so it was tolerable... certainly nothing I'd recommend to others based on the rates charged and the concern about the actual room cleanliness... but decent enough to stay for the the week rather than search out...
