First off, I want to say the quality of the food was fine. No issues there. But the experience is everything. Please see below:
Atrocious customer service and very unprofessional. We’ve given this Taco Bell a few chances, and we’ve been hesitant going back. This was the last time. And it’s sad, because with it being brand new and right beside UCA, you’d think it would have the best service/staff. Absolutely horrible. Taco Bell, find a better staff or retrain these employees! We’re practically in a recession, so I’m sure there are decent employees out there that can whip this place into tip-top shape.
Our experience was, “Our receipt machine is broken. Please pull up to the double doors in front.” No problem, we always use a credit card just to make sure it’s correct. We pull up, wait for 10-12 minutes. And we were presented with our food but no coffee. They tell us after we paid and have to wait, that the coffee machine is also broken. Always something broken at this place. It’s almost as bad as McDonald’s ice cream machines that no one wants to fix. We asked for a refund, but were questioned why. They offered us orange juices, and we decided that would work. As the employee leaves, they shake their head and mutter things under their breath as if we are the inconvenience. After bringing us the orange juices, no apology for the inconvenience. It was crazy! And to top it all off, loitering of the employees’ friends were a big thing. They obviously knew each other because first names were shouted as the employees entered/exited the building.
Again, it’s a shame that this restaurant is going down hill. It has such potential...
Read moreThe first time I ate at this Taco Bell the food was exceptional...literally the best Taco Bell I had ever had. I was so excited to have quick, decent food nearby! I've been there three times since and it has been the WORST fast food I have ever had. I almost never leave a negative review because I understand everyone has off days but the food these employees are selling is absolutely unacceptable.
I can't remember what I ordered the two previous times I ate there but I do remember the tortillas were hard and crunchy at the ends of the burritos, there was no actual attempt to roll a burrito and the insides were all over the outside of the burrito and the paper it was wrapped it, and the steak was so awful that it was entirely inedible. It was bad enough that I tried getting in touch with corporate and in my 30 years of life, I have never felt compelled to complain about the food at a restaurant, but I suppose they weren't too worried about it because I never heard back.
I decided to try it one more time today and was disappointed, again. I always get the cheesy bean and rice burrito...literally just rice, beans, and the nacho cheese, maybe some pico...it definitely has never contained meat. The burrito I was given was not that. It had ground beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, and sour cream. My husband ordered two beefy frito burritos and said one had no meat in it and the other was just weird in general and he couldn't eat it. Such a disappointment. The employees are always nice enough, the location is still new and clean, but the food is just bad. Period. We will be going to Taco Bell on Oak or Prince...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went here to get something to eat. We decided to go inside since they weren't busy. There was nobody inside and I car in drive thru. We walked in and went to the counter. After 2 minutes of standing there the employ that was sitting in the lobby asked us to use the kiosk. She then went to the back of the store and stood there. We place our order and go sit down. The lobby was filthy. There is no reason someone wasn't at least wiping down the lobby instead of all standing around in the kitchen talking. We wiped our own table off. They had 2 more drive thru orders and 2 mobile orders. After 15 minutes of nothing and them not being busy, I go to counter. A lady asked did I need to place an order. I told them no I was still waiting on my order. She look confused that I said I had an order I was waiting on. I could see the kitchens order screen. My order was the only one on there. She then tells someone else on thr make line that I've been waiting for over 15minutes for my order. I stand at the counter to make sure they don't forget me again. I had 2 other employees ask if I needed to place an order. The one person who was the only one working and cleaning and filling low products was Shae who was working drive thru. She even helped us get our drinks because we the other employees wanted to just stand around and do nothing. Shae went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. I honestly think this location needs better management and employees. It sucks to see a staff of 6 people including managers working and only 1 person is actually working and pulling...
