Didn't know Tacos for life had went out and decided we were already there so why not try it. We won't be back. My wife ordered the potstickers and they were burnt. I took a bite of one because she said they had a weird taste. We asked what meat was used and the waiter went and asked. He came back and said chicken. I ordered sliced beef and meatball pho and a California roll. The sushi came out first and after the waiter walked off I just laughed because of the presentation. The end pieces were on top, pieces were upside down and coming un-rolled, and cut super thick. I thought well maybe someone is new and if I was home making this for myself I'd eat the end pieces they taste the same but just look funny. I tried one without any soy sauce first and they used too much vinegar in the rice so it just tasted like vinegar. I had to eat it with a fork bc of them falling apart. Definitely needed to be rolled tighter. My pho came out next and it already had big slices of onion, a few green onions, and a pile of cilantro in it. The broth was a muddy color and the aromatic smell I always enjoy when I eat pho was NOWHERE to be found. I ate most of the noodles out of it and added bean sprouts and lime. I am used to the add in items being separate so you can choose the amount you like. I don't like a lot of cilantro so it already being added kind of killed it for me. There were just a lot of things that bothered me. The waiter and another lady kept asking us if we were enjoying everything. My wife's plate of burned potstickers was at the end of the table and I had a nearly full bowl of pho. For almost $30 we left most of our...
Read moreFirst of all, I want to say the waitress was so nice and sweet but she seems so nervous to communicate with deaf people. My boyfriend and I are deaf and we came in to eat. I wish the waitress wasn’t so nervous and put in more efforts to communicate with us effectively. She failed to let us know that they were out of sliced beef after we ordered our drinks and did not want to pay for our drinks because we wanted to leave after finding out that they did not have beef but we felt obligated to stay because we did not want to waste our drinks, we already ordered it. So I ordered noodle with shrimps thinking it was dry noodles then they brought out the noodle and it was soupy which I did not want it at all and it had mushrooms in it. The menu failed to mention that it came with mushrooms which is wrong. Some people like me are allergic to mushrooms. So should have added that in the menu. So the waitress apologized and said I could change the food. So I ordered pad Thai with shrimps and the waitress did not ask us which spicy level we want and did not know they come with spicy levels until later. So my food was very bland and not spicy at all. I like my food really spicy. So it was very very disappointing. I will not...
Read moreThe restaurant was pretty empty when we entered. We were a group of six or seven. We think that the server slash host had just gotten to work, because he seemed to be a little bit out of it. It took us a little while to order and it definitely took us a little while to get all of our food. But the memorable part of the experience was how happy everybody was with their food and the smells of the food from everyone else. There was tasting going around at the table and we really just enjoyed the food. I got green curry with shrimp, and I am a fan of green curry so I'm also a critic. The green curry was delicious. It's a good serving size, not too little and not too much , especially when you look at the value. I had enough to eat and some to take with me. Around the table we also ordered several sushi rolls. I ordered the Crunchyroll, which I shared around the table , and tasted some of the others but unfortunately I don't know what they were. They were all good though. Hands down, would totally visit again, and would...
