Skip to the bottom for short reason for raising and non drawn out story about how the manager was polite when im.susure she thought she was dealing with a problem.
Ok so I dont buy Wendy's often. But during a time I had no.internet I went to Wendy's on 311 W Oak St, Conway, AR 72032 2 to 3 days a week and drank water. That said some people (customers) gave me sodas and then I drink soda. Last month I spent almost 50$ there despite Wendy's food not being my preference in the slightest I'd rather have Burger King and Wendy's prices I would rather go to McDonald's. I go to Wendy's for internet and rather then to to burger king or McDonald's were I have to cross the road ... I hate doing that on foot. Well today may 9th 2019 when I got there the door was locked on the drive through side. I dont know why i assume they forget but it's not the first time last month it happened twice that I know both times not getting opened till someone took food outside through it. That said I assume they forget during there busy mornings and as most people dont come through that door as the parking spaces are on the other side they never have any problems. I come in get some water and grab 4 packets of crackers to settle my stomach that's empty and causing me acid problems. Most people dont care at all. A manager asked me what I was doing I said getting the crackers to eat for my stomach and she asked if I bought anything I said not today and she said you haven't bought any thing in a few days have you.... I knew she already had her mind set on the answer so I just muttered to myself about having bought a burger yesterday and the conversation turned toward me not buying anything but spending a lot of time there.... it ended with me leaving. My point here is even when she was dealing with what I'm sure she thought was a problem she was polite. All the staff I've seen are polite and kind. Well I only have 2 problems with Wendy's the fact wile there i have seen several people return there cold fries and even more complain about them during there slow times.... During there busiest hours it's not a problem as they are constantly making more and they need to open both doors when they open the store. Now I probably wont go there unless it's for a frosty anymore as sitting and useing the internet seems to be a problem but she through all that remained calm and as polite as one can be wile indirectly telling someone to leave. Guess I'm crossing the street to BK from now on and when I do have mo e spe doing it there after I sit 2 or 3 hours and get thirsty or hungry... The crackers might have been pushing my luck anyway.
So short version there food is not bad they are fast in service I've watched many days the staff are kind and polite as far as I've seen and the o nly complaints I've heard are during slow times people saying cold fries. And my personal one...
Read moreI spent more than a year of my teens working the window/grill/line at a fast-food joint so I know, while the work is physically hard, it's not that difficult to pull off. Wendy's on Oak street proves that to be entirely false.
I visited late one night after all better options were closed. My order was taken quickly by someone who seemed friendly and helpful over the speaker. When I pulled to the window, I paid and waited several minutes. The manager working the window asked me to pull up. She handed me one bag of food and told me they'd been waiting on fresh fries, but now they were waiting on my chicken nuggets. I obliged and pulled up, even though there were no cars behind me. It's rude to ask a customer to pull up if no one is waiting in line behind them. It's an attempt to make your times look better than they really are. I understand this and pulled forward anyway.
I reached in the bag, content to have something to stuff my face with and bit into a fry. They were cold. Cold enough that they leave that filmy grease in your mouth when you eat them. (Not the normal filmy grease from Wendy's, the bad kind, from cold Wendy's). When my two orders of nuggets finally came out they forgot to bring sauce. When I asked for one extra, the girl who brought my food told me I'd have to pay for the extra, and I'd need to back up to the window. I just drove off. God help the rest of society if these people are ever placed in a situation where they...
Read moreWe had come in to the restaurant well after the lunch rush and before dinner time - about 330p (I belive the dining room was nearly empty). Our order was a bit large and somewhat complex. The cashier let the couple behind us know it would be a moment, and then proceeded to quickly pull our order together, carefully checking that it was accurate. The woman in line behind us was very rude and selfish about her order not being taken right away, putting the cashier in the position of having to apologize to me and stop putting the final items on our tray in order to appease the woman. The manager immediately stepped up and finished the last couple of items for our order, even bringing the tray out to our table. Afterwards the manager, Daniel, made several rounds of the dining room asking customers if there was anything they needed, drink refills, ect. Daniel and his staff did what they could to quickly rectify the woman's complaint and to make the dining experience as effortless as possible for my family and those who came...
