Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food chains, but this particular location has sucked for years now. They're constantly making my order wrong, leaving stuff out entirely, or taking forever to get me my food when there's little to no other people in the drive thru. I took a long break recently, and decided to go back and try it again today and this was my experience.
I ordered through the app no problem. I actually think it has a good layout and works faster than a lot of the other fast food apps. When we got to the restaurant though, we had to pull up and wait probably 7 minutes for the order we placed well ahead of time, and we were one of only 2 cars there. We'll, we got home, and one of our bacon cheeseburgers didn't have any bacon at all. Up to this point, I was a little frustrated but figured I could get a refund for the specific item through the app (I didn't want to go back and get a replacement as we had already gotten home). Once I tried to actually use the support through the app though, it didn't do anything. The link to the Contact Us page just sends you to a black screen, and when I tried to go to the app's support section and start up a live chat, it just always ended as soon as it said it was connecting to a chat.
So, we placed an order ahead of time, still waited for the food while we were one of the only people there, got less than what we ordered and then couldn't even get ahold of anyone or anything to just get a refund. The in person experience is really just an issue with that particular location, but not being able to get any actual help through the app is a massive issue that the company actually needs to fix, not that they actually appear to care enough to make their support page work, but you bet that the actual areas where you make and place the orders work very well so that they still...
Read moreThis is the 2nd bad experience in the past month the first time was door dash and I had to go all the way up to the store to get my entire order fixed and she threw it in the counter like it was my fault. This 2nd time I went to the drive through hoping it would be ok I have her my order and then she says something and I had to repeat the whole order again then I get to the first window and the girl at the window gives me my total $60 gets mad that I hand her a $100 bill counts my change out making weird noises the whole time then walks away with window open so I’m waiting for my receipt and each person that passed the open window I’m saying hey excuse me hey excuse and they just literally look at me like I’m crazy so I finally get somebody to give me my receipt by now I have a huge line behind me and I’m stressed. So I pull up to the next window and it’s just also open with a girl with her back to me so I look at my receipt and see there’s something added that I didn’t order so I say hey excuse me hey excuse me and she didn’t listen so I push my receipt into the window and say hello and she gives me a look again like I’m the one in the wrong and the girl who took my order comes over to fix it has to call her manager who then gets the worst attitude WITH ME BECAUSE THE GIRL AT THE WINDOW ADDED SOMETHING I DIDNT EVEN ORDER then the manager comes back and says here that’s exactly how much it cost and rudely gives me the money back and don’t even let me begin to start on how cold my food was when I finally got it. If u hate your job...
Read moreThey get our food wrong over 50% of the time, and like to leave out items at about the same frequency. Also when you are waiting to get your food they wouldn't open the window so you can ask for condiments if it would save their lives, and when they do open it they thrust the food upon you so fast and slam the window you barely have time to ask and if you do manage to get the words out they look at you like your bothering them and ALWAYS get an attitude about having to get ketchup, salt, mayo, ect. They thrust the bag out immediately when that window is opened and won't take it back for nothing to put in condiments so you have to reach out and put it all in your hands. They make you feel like your doing something wrong by asking for it and they act like you just insulted them, just horrible customer service. This is only at the food window not the paying one. Also this isn't a one time thing either, it's been like this for the 3 or 4 years we have been living on that side of town and started going there, and its EVERYBODY working that window not just one person. If you can go to the one on Jefferson as they are always very nice and ask b4 they sling the bag out to you. Reason im giving it a 3 and not a 1 is because the food is usually fresh and good which is why i keep going back despite thr rude workers at the...
