Went in to Dragon City a bit hesitant and quickly realized there was no reason to be. Our waitress personable, she knew the menu and was attentive without being overly so. It was open seating and she noticed the table we chose would have put direct sun in one of our eyes, so she offered to let us move to a different table out of the sunlight. I ordered the egg drop soup to start out with and it was perfect. The flavor was good, the temperature was great, and it was the right consistency. Next came our entrees. My mother ordered the honey walnut shrimp and I ordered the steak curry. The shrimp were huge, much to our delight, and the portion could have easily cost us more than double what we paid. My steak curry had just the right amount of spice to make it palatable to everyone. The steamed rice served with each entree was a nice big portion.
The only reasons I am not giving 5 stars: While our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu, when I went to order the steak curry (after she raved about another curry dish) she told me she was not sure how it tasted and that it wasn't a popular item so she couldn't promise me it would be good. The lighting that was offered for the table we ended up at was insufficient once the sun set a little more. Would have been much better with a light directly over the table, rather than the recessed lighting 10ft up.
All in all the food was amazing and the staff were nice. We will definitely be visiting again (but probably to one of the booths with a light directly...
Read moreWhile the food was delicious, I was surprised by the lack of hospitality. After working a long day, we decided to get a bite to eat. We were not greeted but told immediately that the restaurant closed at nine. Unfortunately, we arrived at 2030. The woman who took our order appeared to be in a hurry as she forgot an item I ordered. Throughout our meal, the same woman looked at us and kept looking at her watch. No one came to ask if we needed anything. I waved to one of the workers to get his attention for another glass of tea. I was brought a glass of tea 2/3 full with no ice. We finished our meal as quickly as possible getting out of there at 2100. While not habitual, I've eaten at other restaurants late who have been hospitable. They will lock up but assure their customers to enjoy and finish their meal. Never have I experienced the rudeness of having someone look at me and glance at their watch and make a customer feel rushed to eat their meal. Yes, I do understand that the restaurant staff is tired from most likely working a long day, but so are some customers. The restaurant staff should remember that they choose to work in the restaurant business. They should also remember that it is the paying customers who keep their establishment in business. As I mentioned above that the food is very palatable, it might benefit the management to take a class regarding restaurant hospitality and...

My egg-rolls were cold In the middle. He seemed races and once they brought me my food, He never came back to check on me. I literally had to wave them down to Get the bill so I can pay.
