Firstly I would just like to say I drive Uber and GrubHub. I used to work in for fast food and can understand that the days are difficult and draining, but one of the first things you are taught is greeting and reacting to customers. I enter the location and walk directly to the spot marked where Uber Eats pick ups are supposed to be done. It was about 9:15. There were no service employees visible so I decided to wait. About 5 minutes pass not a single employee was ever present at the front register.
Eventually a service member from the drive-thru walks from the back portion and preps fries for a customer. He proceeds to stand their watching some video on his cellphone facing away from the lobby. I ask him "Are there any service employees for lobby customers?" He either didn't hear me or willfully ignored me. I ask again a little louder, no response. He walks to hand out the food out the drive-thru window. He than walks to the back of the store. I look around the lobby to see if there was a service employee I just didn't see, I only saw a couple eating in the back corner that were there since before I arrived. So there was obviously an employee that was supposed to be handling the front service guests, they were just M.I.A. I decided to keep waiting.
After a couple more minutes of waiting the drive-thru employee returns to the register near the window and prepares a pop for the drive-thru and waits for the food to get made. While he was waiting I ask "So is McDonalds is just going to ignore customers in the front lobby now?" No response. After two encounters with the drive-thru employee and no sign of the front service employee I decided the only way to get these unprofessional, wastes of time, to pay any attention to their customers is to go through the drive-thru.
I leave the lobby, enter my car and pull around the drive-thru. After a some time waiting in the drive-thru a completely random car pulls up behind me. Eventually I get someone to ask "What would you like tonight?" I tell them "I'm here to pick up an Uber Eats order." and they "informed" me that because the lobby was still open. I told them that I was more than aware that I was supposed to be picking up the order inside and told them I was inside and waited nearly 10 minutes with nothing to show for it and came to the conclusion to get any attention was to go through the drive-thru. They tell me to pull forward to the first window, catching the slip-up I respond "Don't you mean the second window?" the person over the mic says that the order wasn't confirmed yet and I needed to(go to the first window) he cuts himself off after confirming the order and tells me to go to the second window. I pull forward and start to wait again. In the middle of me waiting the person that showed up after me through the drive-thru(I can only assume) decided that the wait wasn't worth the time or food and left before they could even get to pay for their food. After a short wait they get me the food I needed for the Uber customer and I leave never feeling more disregarded in my life.
If I wasn't paid to be there I would never have been there and can safely say unless you are also being paid to be at this establishment you are wasting your own time, energy, and money. Easily the least professional, lazy, wastes of time that can even be considered an employee. So bad that the manager should feel bad for even hiring the...
Read moreI decided to try the app out and place a mobile order, I chose to park and have it brought out. Super easy and fast. I'm pretty sure I was slower getting there and I'm under a mile away. I drove into a mobile order spot, entered the number for what spot and after I did that it ran my transaction and my food was brought out.
I like that it runs the transaction after in case of substitutes, things not being available, any of the plethora of things that can come with working in food service. I also like the deals available on the app and points. I've only had the app a week or so and I've gotten a couple of completely free items that are faves and another that was 99¢ + tax.
I also do food delivery on occasion for one of the food delivery companies (I'm not naming it just in case it would violate any rules and keep my review from being posted) and I'm always impressed with their efficiency and accuracy with getting orders right (and I love the way they package drinks/things in cups, I really wish other places...

Older review I downloaded the McDonald's app, got a coupon and decided the app was too annoying to keep. I took a screen shot of the coupon. The cashier rejected the screenshot and the manager said I would need to open the app for them to honor the coupon. I didn't want to pay full price for the second Big Mac and since the line was so long we left without our purchase. It didn't seem fair to the other customers to wait for me to reload the app. The smart thing would have been letting me know only original images would be accepted from that point forward and completed the sale. We are within a few miles of 3 other McDonald's, one of which we call the good McDonald's. I won't be going back to this one. The last time we were here the fries were cold and they got our order wrong. We asked for BigMacs without...
