I would like to address the ignorant person continually writing her reviews on here regarding an incident from this past weekend. First and foremost, you were in violation of our posted safety rules & regulations. You put a child in harms way by carrying them on roller blades (a person with common sense would have figured that out; maybe this isn't a smart idea) The automated safety announcements was played for carrying children, after failing to comply, a verbal announcement was then made again to not carrying children while skating. Our security officer/safety director then had to get involved with yet another safety reminder that Cheap Skate has a strict policy with no carrying children while on roller skates/blades. I'm sorry we value the safety of our skaters & patrons at our facility. Secondly, you verbally attacked the DJ for "Harassment" because we made safety announcements. At anytime you could have asked to speak with a supervisor and/or manager as several were present but you decided to cause a chaotic scene with aggressive tones & profanity (with other children and families present might I add). At that time, your party was asked to vacate the facility in which you & your party became further disruptive & chastising. While being removed, verbal assaulting continued which then turned into physical assault by your party to our certified security officer being pushed by the other patron being escorted out as well. You and your party continued to verbally harass all staff involved, repeatedly stating "come outside". Further adding to the matter, re-enter our building taking photographs of our staff at the window; to the point we had to get the police involved which they trespassed you from the property because you were such a great person to us....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEish i coukd give this place less than one star.... staff at this place are extremely rude and have zero customer service skills... well to be fair the people i interacted with were the two managers and the owners so lets just hope the other staff have a better skill set. The make and female supervisors who were working the event were extremely rude and when i simply stated to them that they were in fact being rude the solution was for the female aupervisor to give me my money back. This was fine and as i tried to speak withbtge other manager on duty he seemed more concered with protecting and justifying the female supervisor than actually trying to problem solve with me the customer. I then was able to speak to the owner who did seem to try and problem solve and be understanding but as he walked away to try to get my party in the male supervisor attempted to explain our interaction with the the owner and reported " she was doing her bit" as a black women that seems extremely racially motivated and at this point i walked over to hear the remainder of the conversation but the supervisor then said " yeah shes right behind you" and walked off. At this point i decided to leave because i did not want to give my money to this establishment. No one approached us and attempted to make things right or apologize .This is a horrible business practice and i will never return here again. I will be reporting this tomultiple sources/outlets.This place is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreShowed up to Adult Classes, the ones they advertise for Adults Only, with inline skates ready to learn Day 1 skills. Paid $20 to have a 13 year old who clearly hasnāt been instructed in instructing tell me nothing useful. A few of the older assistants ended up helping towards the end, so I got some value out of the experience, but definitely not worth the drive out or the $20. The owner wasnāt even going to originally charge me because she felt she couldnāt adequately teach me (the classes are predominantly quad skates), but happily accepted my money after deciding the little girl (who apparently had experience with inline skates) was fit to teach. I was open to it as I was an assistant martial arts instructor when I was 14. I was held to standards and followed a structured teaching plan that was laid out for me. This little instructor was clearly provided neither, as well as no compensation for her labor according to herself (she enjoyed telling me and the other adult inline skate student this several times). She also wouldnāt wear inline skates while teaching us (I asked if she could), which made the experience even less helpful.
I doubt Iāll return after all that. Itās been over two month since this experience and I was hoping to stop feeling annoyed by it all since some of my friends skate there for fun and I would have liked to join them once capable, but I canāt find any interest in experiencing anything similar to the unorganized mess that...
