I came to this place on a friend's recommendation, and the food was really tasty, but the service was awful. We were attended to by who seemed to be the manager, and we made a mistake by ordering a poke bowl instead of building our own bowl (she just assumed it was the signature instead of asking). We told her it was our mistake and asked if she could change it, but all we received from her was a horrible attitude. She kept saying she wouldn't remake our food, that she wouldn't pay for our mistake, and that we had to eat what we ordered. Seeing this attitude, I asked for a refund because I really didn't want to be there anymore, as I said, her attitude was terrible. She refused to give us a refund and literally yelled at us that okay, she would change it. I understand it was our mistake when ordering (we made a mistake because we had never been there before and she didn’t explain the menu either), however, I don't think anyone deserves the horrible attitude she gave us. Everything was very tasty, but we won't...
Read moreLocated in a strip mall on Stirling Road just west of University Drive, this spot is great for poke, ramen, or boba. You can order from iPads right by the entrance or staff can help you order at the counter. They have a wheel to spin if you spend over a certain amount to get some item free, who doesn't love a good wheel spin. There is a cute wall of Polaroids and stickies and games to play and hang out while you eat. The menu seems a bit overwhelming for some reason but there were some pics of the most popular dishes on the wall for a guide. We opted to try a ramen, poke bowl, sesame balls, and boba. Their build your own poke bowl is delish! Boba can be customized many different ways. The sesame balls were good but not the best I've had, maybe a little too over cooked for me. The bobas were tasty and even at 1/2 sweet the lychee butterfly one was still pretty sweet. Staff is super friendly and when they are making the bubble waffles, the places smells amazing!! Definitely worth a...
Read moreCame for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and they seemed to be busy. The young man that took our order seemed new and was not the most helpful or friendly person , but everyone else that I encountered was. This shop is fairly small, but they do have indoor and outdoor sitting.
We ordered 2 boba teas and both of them were good. We also ordered a house seafood ramen and a house spicy pork ramen. They seafood ramen was about $16 and didn't not have much seafood. The pork ramen had big thick pieces of pork, but they didn't give me the chili oil to make it spicy and they were busy for me to come inside and ask for it. I personally was not a fan of the broth. They do make the noodles in house , but I wasn't a fan of the noodles they were a bit grainy for my taste.
For dessert we went for the bubble waffle with powder sugar and cinnamon. They were ok , but it needed some extra sweetness to it.
Overall I would come back to try...
